Neutral? Chaotic Good as far as I can tell, even Neutral Good. I agree, if you manage to market it out at a good price will be a hit. Good size, good looks and ease of use!!! I would not try to use it as a defence weapon though. Nothing can beat a shoot gun in that aspect ( lethality, cost and easiness of owning). But this bow its a good fun with friends. I wonder if you could replace these arrows also with smaller ones, plastic, or wooden or lead made ( cylindrical, on a gravity magazine with lets say 10 shots). The problem with bows is the destruction of arrows... So a cheap solution for re usable bolts is needed if you want to practice regularly. At the end, maybe you can make more money from marketing the "consumables" (see the inkjet printers paradigm ...). All the best with your ventures!

Instant Legolas will have millions in sales. Make it adaptable to any compound bow.
@animistchannel29835 жыл бұрын
That is the greatest invention in archery since the compound bow. Seriously. For someone who prefers to shoot non-compound (which this could also do), it's the greatest advance since laminated limbs. Also, in aluminum material that is slippery and with only a millimeter thick walls that slide in easily, you could make a box-in-a-box clip/magazine system by putting a hinge & swivel lock for the outer pusher arm/spring panel, with a slot also in the clip to let the pusher reach through to the arrow shafts. You could have the arrow-feed guard on the string side of the clip be a thin panel that slid out backwards through a slot as well to allow final loading access. Imagine, you run one clip out. You unhook the pusher-arm panel at the back, swing it open, slide out a slotted clip box, slide in a new clip box, remove the slot guard on new clip, lock the pusher-arm panel closed again, and slide out the feed guard. Six more shots, repeat procedure. An archer could carry several extra clip boxes on hips and backpack, with no chance of snagging, damaging, or losing arrows until they were actually used. As you retrieve arrows, you could reload an emptied clip while still having one in the bow and at least another full one in reserve, so you could be moving, shooting, and recovering continuously.

When shooting with normal bow, you should "lock" your right hand by touching chin/cheek when bow is drawn to get anchor point. This gives you stability and accuracy. Your bow has too short draw length to you. Some shorter guy could use it better. If magazine could be adjustable length, you could modify draw length for different shooters. Maybe grooves with locking screws that allow you to move magazine back and forth is enough for few inch draw length modification. Of course you also need adjustable cams in your bow. This could be important feature if you plan commercial production. Thank you for excellent videos an ideas.
@Appletank85 жыл бұрын
He said that the problem with making the draw further back is that said stock gets in the way of reaching the strings in the first place.
@tomholton2355 жыл бұрын
I think you have a point but I don’t think this is the case for this style of bow because the magazine already provides the anchor point making it more like shooting a sideways crossbow or firearm than a regular bow. Combined with the red dot sight this should be enough for short range firing and home defence. If he had designed this for long range, accurate shooting I think you would be right and he would need a larger bow with a greater draw length.

JoergSprave HUGE fan from Detroit USA! (formerly my family is from north germany!) Why not try a revolver style bow rather than a magazine? Simply design the revolver so the cylinder is half open. So the arrows pinch in place, are halfway exposed to get the string around when they go into the firing position. Then when you draw the bowstring the revolver cylinder moves one position to the next arrow, hook the arrow, shoot. If you could combine it with the full auto bows method of auto draw back, it could also power the motion of loading the next arrow via revolver. Then you could do a giant drum rather than a revolver cylinder. I think this is a good couple of videos for you to make!
