I definitely think it was a unique and cool upgrade, but I do understand that Steve does perfer how he normally uses the shield. So I understand why Steve eventually went back. Also Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Obscure MCU! 🎅

The leather straps gave the shield character. Some times the old ways are better than the new.
