I can't understand how it is critically analysed. It is some sort of abbreviated or coded analysis. Can you please explain that as well. It will be very thankful.

it means all mahabharats those were written in the past in north india, easten india, south india etc they were all put together, combined filtered and only those things which were in common in all were taken and compiled to form a final mahabharata.
