I recommend switching the switches (no pun intended) with pom durocks there basically the same switch but with no scratchenes and better housing and spring

@@cqiman8047 no... They’re pretty different. Although I would say that POM Durocks are better - it’s purely preference. The POM Durocks have a different stem, and honestly I prefer the sound of the NK_ Ceams. And another thing is if you go deeper into the keyboard hobby, those NK_ Creams are useful for frankenswitching.

This is a great first build. I would use some tweezers to test that the PCB is working before you fully install your build, but otherwise very nice!

That's totally fair. I like the more muted sound and feel as opposed to the "harder" sound and feel as a result of a simple tray mount and all. I guess in a way it's ironic that the goal here is basically turning the Tofu into another board altogether

The reason why the sound is inconsistent is how the mounting system is executed. Tray mount tends to be uneven. Good build overall

i did my first custom build a few months ago ...also used the tofu 65 but in black ... happy with it but damn it does look good in white too 😍.. for the switches i went with holy pandas i highly recommend... but liking the production quality great vid .... your voice sounds clean af... keep it up
