The amount of detail that went into this game is just unreal. When you pose for a second and look around you notice so many details that no one ever notices because they're really tiny or you're playing a multiplayer game and you don't have time for it. For example, on the map Exoplanet, if you look at the background you will see that the weird giant flowers are actually pulsating. On maps like Wargames and Boomtown, if you go to the edge of the map and look down, there's an Easter egg saying "unauthorized view". There are many more details that went into this game and no one ever notices and it's kinda sad that they put so much effort into it but it wouldn't have changed anything if they didn't. That's why Respawn is such a great dev team
@Hellothere-bk9cf4 жыл бұрын
Lucas Boulanger I found a lot of interesting details in the campaign too, particularly on the airborne mission. If you don't jump on to the Malta from the blackbird when they say "jump" there are like 6 extra lines like: "hang on I'm pulling away" and then you can do it again. If you fail to shoot viper when he's exposed in the cockpit he kills bt, and if you take too long pushing the ark into bt the ship actually crashes and you die.

Making a 3rd titanfall game, while making me and many others incredibly happy, would not be like "printing money". Apex is a great game, don't get me wrong, but it's a battle royale and battle royale, as a genre, is dying out. If they wanted to truly put in the effort to make titanfall 3 amazing and release soon enough that people won't forget about it, they would have to stop or reduce the work they do on apex. As their primary income, not focusing on it would be a stupid idea. I hope that after Apex dies out, they will start the creation of titanfall 3, however those that played apex casually (the arguably largest titanfall universe community), will most likely have forgotten about the titanfall universe, and not care to follow the studio. If they market the game better (e.g. not releasing between 2 huge games, better advertising) they have a good chance. But EA now owning them is just a whole other story. Sorry for this being an essay, but thanks for reading

While Overwatch and Titanfall started the same way where the first iteration was multiplayer only because of the lack of resources they had, Titanfall 2 came out great. While Blizzard is known for their engaging stories and shorts, I don't think Overwatch 2 could come close to what Titanfall 2 had achieved because they had an actual deadline, and they didn't have a recent layoff.

It was interesting that this campaign came out almost exactly the same time as Dishonored 2 featured an almost identical concept of time travel. It was well executed in both games without feeling like either was a ripoff of the other. IMO one of the greatest video game moments of all time, that also happened in the 2010's was the ending of Portal 2 when you shoot the moon. The build up to that point in the game was perfectly satisfied by that awesome moment. All the clues were given to you throughout the game so you could figure it out but they still let you feel like it was your own brilliant idea.
@bryansuka3944 жыл бұрын

THIS is exactly what Sci-fi COD would have been if IW was given such freedom. Phenomenal game- you could extract several games from individual elements such as the movement, Titan combat, Multiplayer style, campaign design, etc. What's even more amazing is how on an entirely different engine, it still FEELS like COD, but much more refined and dare I say... augmented.

@@GameBrainOfficial For a future video, I would like to see an interview on New World Interactive and the challenges of making Insurgerncy, a standalone game based on a half-life mod, to Insurgency: Sandstorm, a game in a new engine with a larger scope. @@bigbernard7325 That's an excellent suggestion mate! I'll look into it. What topics / questions would you want to ask the developers yourself?
@bigbernard73254 жыл бұрын
@@GameBrainOfficial I can't really think of too many in-depth questions of the top of my head. Maybe why was the single player mode cut before release and if they have any plans on adding it in a later content update. Another one would be just how difficult was it to use the Unreal engine when developing Sandstorm, did anyone on your team have experience with it, does that new engine make patches or integrating Steam workshop content more difficult or even possible. One reason for stand-alone Insurgency's success was that the Source engine allowed for tons of User created add-ons, even full conversions of Insurgency, such as Day of Infamy, which also got it's own stand-alone release by NWI. Another question would be how well do the devs think a console port of Sandstorm will perform financially. With the Modern Warfar e Reboot, does this mean the current niche for a realistic military shooter is currently filled? Would Sandstorm have performed better if the port was released before Modern Warfare, riding off of the hype for it? Also one last question (which I doubt the devs will answer) is why are the player counts for Sandstorm so low in comparison for the last game. Is it the lack of content, the higher specs required to run the game, competition from Modern Warfare (2019), or how the devs want to take the game vs hardcore players (Bigfry TV) want to take the game.
