On this week's Fight To Survive, in what is regarded as one of greatest survival stories sailor Steven Callahan finds himself alone and adrift in a life raft after his boat, the Napoleon Solo, sinks in the mid-Atlantic. Now a little older and wiser, he's back in the studio with us to reflect on his fight for survival and his life since the incident.

I know I shouldn’t be bringing negative vibes into the comments but the “I shouldn’t be alive” version of this is so much better, It’s so much more intense and adds some more specific details that just make it feel more whole as a story, they didn’t even mention how we dove back into the boat for supplies and his lungs almost burst while the boat was sinking, like come on now

I first saw this story on “I shouldn’t be alive”… season 4. Called 76 days at sea or something like that. Just omg WOW. It’s gut wrenching watching. I seriously literally would have died in a week. Guarantee. I just can’t believe he went through that. It makes me so sad thinking about all the other probably gillions of other people that survived an accident at sea for a great deal of time but were never found so their turmoils got completely lost. I can only imagine the stories we’d known of if everyone lost at sea could live to tell their tale.
