It's rumored that Luke kept baby Yoda safe when Kylo went on his rampage through the academy and when Luke went into exile, he took Baby Yoda with him and hid him to ensure he was fully protected, then when Rey came along, Luke acted like a coward to dissuade her from gaining training, thus keeping Baby Yoda safe from the heir of Palpatine. If this was the case, why not include it in the films? Gah, the sequel trilogy is an utter failure. It's not canon!

@@Storm-jn5ct for me it would work only if he didnt think about killing Kylo. Say he sensed the dark side, but he chose to ignore how dark it is. Instead he tried talking to Kylo, one on one, and Kylo brushes him off, like an emo teen would. Then, Kylo backstabs Luke by destroying his whole temple. Luke would then blame himself for trying to be diplomatic as a Jedi would (and this would thus make his hatred of the Jedi make sense aswell, as him trying to be diplomatic is something inherent to the Jedi Code).

I still don't see why Alex says season 2 had such a definite end point...there's so many looming/potential plot threads. And there's no way they will just retake Mandalore in one season and end the series. Not with an entire series of interconnected shows on the way, with Thrawn out there, and they are working towards a huge Infinity War-like crossover. I expect 5-6 solid seasons. You really think the newly announced shows set in the same universe won't have Mando around it? And Grogu, who sells that much, will just be a cameo/side character in other shows after one season of development? C'mon guys.

I think it was on this channel where the season finale review had someone saying they were "hoping for divine intervention like a car accident for KK". To the question of how Boba got out the Sarlaac - it was addressed. The Krayt Dragon eat the Sarlaac a week after Fett went in. When the Sarlaac died, Fett escaped. It's mentioned in the first episode of S2

They are setting up the FUTURE for the franchise. Grogu, Ezra, and Ashoka can rebuild the Jedi or maybe create something new. Din Djarin can become the new Mandalore and rebuild the Mandalorians. Boba Fett can become the new Jabba, and recreate the crime syndicates. Once these sorts of repairs are made, it will be so much easier to tell Star Wars stories going forward.

But in TLJ? He's so insanely good he can literally dance around the blade of a force sensitive Djem So specialist while projecting yourself across the Galaxy. Luke is the embodiment of his fathers potential. He is in TLJ and he is here.

Would it be too much to hope that they’ll scrap the sequel trilogy and continue Star Wars through all the new shows including mandolorian? Because the sequel trilogy is literally just the original trilogy but a completely butchered version with all the likeable characters and story telling and character growth just completely ignored or killed off like a damn side character. Force awakens was fine but it just felt pretty much like new hope, like almost identical. Last Jedi? It’s basically the opening chase sequence in new hope but extended into 2 hours (I forgot how long last Jedi was) and the final battle was the first battle scene from the empire strikes back. And of course, the rise of skywalker was pretty much just return of the Jedi, just 100 times worse and made zero sense whatsoever

J.J. started sequel trilogy, and when you start something, you just don't leave it with another bad guy without explaining who the hell he is, and when you come to the end of the trilogy, you just don't return Palpatine with no explanation at all. It also makes first 6 movies pointless cause Anakin's sacrifice makes no sence at all.J.J. is purist of first 2 STAR WARS movies, and he knows nothing about universe beyond that. Just look at his movies. Every star destroyer is freakin death star now, he makes another cantina, Chewbacca gets medal back with wink wink in the camera, they can travel with lightspeed through cities, cause I guess lightspeed is a joke now, he makes Luke sit on a log as a Force ghost just because it mirrors ep 6 scene with Luke. I mean he has such a weird priorities, while he could make new and amazing scenes. Let's not forget that he scrapped Collin't script where Luke confronts Kylo as a force ghost, just so he can catch a lightsaber and wink wink in the camera to Rian Johnson. Rockstar can make beautiful open world games opposed to CD Project Red. They cant even do a basic wanted system. Rockstar for me is the new top studio overtaking Naughty Dog and Cd Project. They always deliver.

Honestly wouldn't put them as my top dev as gta online is a massive grind fest to push shark cards. Oh and if CDPR was your example of a perfect studio then look of all the bugs at the witcher launch. Ahsoka was one of the voices in TROS, yes. But so was Mace Windu. And he's not supposed to be there as he didn't have the training necessary to live beyond death like Qui-Gon, Yoda, and Obi-Wan did. There's a whole story arc about this in The Clone Wars.

Dave faloni posted a pic of Asoka and Gandolf with Gandolf telling Asoka "It's okay, people thought I was dead too" and Dave was pretty much saying that just because her voice was there doesn't mean she was dead. She could have just heard her voice through the force and knew what was happening so she spoke, we have no idea what happens to Ashoka and she is pretty much my fav character of starwars so I cant wait to see what happens.

filino has hinted tht ashoka doesnt have to be dead by ep 9 as he has an out to that now. this was mentioed after we had the singing stone introduced. also you are forgetting ashoka made it very clear in rebels "i'm NO jedi"

Dave Filoni worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender, he directed and scripted the Clone Wars and worked for years with George Lucas on that series. He understands Star Wars thoroughly, and he knows exactly how Lucas views it as well. And Jon Favreau is a master when it comes to balancing lore, fan service and an engaging story. And he really understands how Star Wars works as well. And right now it looks like The Mandalorian has become the new "centre" of Disney's Star Wars, and the two people mentioned are the ones in charge of all the series to come. I would say that Star Wars is in the best hands right now.
