If you didn't know, this movie is directed by Nia DaCosta, who has already established herself as a cinematic and creative director. It is also written by Megan McDonnell and Elissa Karasik. Megan McDonnell has worked on 9 episodes of WandaVision, and Elissa Karasik has worked on 6 episodes of Loki. These two writers come from two of the most popular Marvel Studios TV shows. The cinematography is done by Sean Bobbitt, who also filmed '12 Years a Slave.' Edited by Evan Schiff, the editor of: Nobody, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, John Wick: Chapter 2, Birds of Prey. With all this talent involved, this movie should be big! I have high expectations.

@@typicalnerd4065 I'm pretty convinced alot these so called Marvel " FaNs " think that it's just films and that comics of these characters don't exist. One even said " They took away the Hulk's manhood and gave it to a woman " ( talking about She Hulk ) even though She Hulk is one of the oldest Marvel characters ever. Another even called Monica Rambeau a " NeW " character even though she has been around since the 80's and was actually the first female Captain Marvel before Carol Danvers. I guess since apparently the MCU bringing in more diverse people is " WoKe " then I guess the legend himself Stan Lee was " WoKe ", in fact it's just a word that cowards hide behind so that they don't have to come out and say how they really feel cuz they know if they do they'll look bad. Stan Lee was the one who created these amazing characters and even stated himself that the Marvel world is a reflection of the one outside our window which means that except for the superpowers bit it's as realistic as the one we are living in rn, which means that there are female, black and gay characters living in the Marvel world, and the films are replicating that rn, so the haters can either get with it or get out, cuz we don't have any room for fake ones in this fandom. Like it was stated by Tom Holland years ago " There's more to the world than a white straight male and these films are going to be representing more than that one type of person ". So these incel weirdos can wake up to reality and stop living in a world where they think being male straight and white is the only type of person in this universe cuz it isn't, and if they seriously think it is, they need to quit being so deluded, cuz it's sad and pathetic.

On the topic of their suits, I personally love them all! I think they're all vast improvements over their former suits! As for Carol's suit, yes, it does seem a bit drab compared to her prior attire , but THAT'S the beauty of it! Think about it: her original suit would be DECADES old by now and must be pretty banged up at this point - it's not as if she can just swing by J.C. Penny's and pick up a new one! Also, her first suit was a actually a Kree uniform - she couldn't really spend years DECIMATING an entire civilization, and then ask them to whip up a new suit for her! Finally, my ONE criticism would that her iconic SASH is missing! Captain Marvel NEEDS her sash! C'mon Marvel, Christmas is coming - why not give the lady her sash? (I mean, that IS something they could find at J. C. Penny's......)

This movie is gonna be a dark horse for best MCU movie of the Multiverse Saga, I think. I'm expecting it to be right up there with No Way Home... although in a VERY different way and for VERY different reasons. These trailers are just oozing with fun and action. Obviously, a trailer doesn't make the movie, but... I haven't been this hyped for a Marvel movie in a while.

@@_Spectrum_288 Because I feel like this movie is going to be roughly as good as No Way Home, despite the fact that most people don't feel the same. I think the core "entanglement" mechanic is the most creative thing the MCU has ever attempted. I think the cast is going to have off-the-charts chemistry and Iman Vellani is an absolute star. And I think Nia DaCosta is a phenomenal director with a great eye behind the camera, who I have a lot of faith in; she might have the best comic book nerd credentials of any current Marvel director. I don't expect you to agree. Your disagreement just proves the point that most people are sleeping on how good this movie is going to be.

@@brandonmiracle9810 Oh no no no, don't worry, I completely agree with you and there's some things I'd like to add on to what your saying 👍👍 In my opinion I don't think it will be as good as No Way Home but from the look of the teaser and trailer it looks to be fun and comedic with a mix of drama and emotion, especially considering the whole thing with Monica and Carol. It was actually stated that it will be more mature and emotional like Wandavision and Black Widow ( even though I actually liked the Captain Marvel movie ). The swapping places/entanglement storyline in the film comes from Mar-Vell's comics ( Marvel's original Captain Marvel who was a male ) where he had the Quantum Bands and could swap locations with a human ( can't remember his name ). Yeah, they seem to be having alot of fun with it, despite how much people are criticising the acting in it 🙄🙄 Apparently Nia Dacosta is meant to be a creative and cinematic director ( she was the one who directed the recent Candy-man film ). From the EW interview it was stated she kept on nerding out while making the film, lol, and the KZbinr Grace Randolph said that Nia Dacosta is very protective of the character of Monica Rambeau. Also I heard that they won't be using all of Monica's abilities from the comics and that Nia Dacosta didn't want her to be nerfed. There was test screenings months ago near the start of the year, they were negative so reshoots were done, second test screenings were done and they were quite positive and then a week or two ago another batch of test screenings were organised and again they were positive. I think that even if this film is going to be good people will still try to turn it into a flop or a fail, cuz just like someone said about the recent trailer " I'm gonna pirat this shit ". Honestly I'm not surprised people are sleeping on this film because 1. They complain about everything Marvel Studios does these days so it's hard to take them seriously 2. I think the main reason people are hating on this film is cuz it's female led, men who hate women in the spotlight. I mean ya can't really deny it, almost everyone of the new females being introduced to the MCU are being criticized while they're praising the men, there's definitely a pattern there. I'd even go as far to say that alot of those people who criticize and hate on the new MCU women haven't touched a comic book in their life and stupidly believe that Marvel Studios was the ones who created them just to replace the male characters when they existed since the very beginning of Marvel's existence. Like one of my friends told me just laugh at them and walk away because if they can't enjoy this film without getting all political about it then that's on them. Btw you may think the CGI looks bad but that's only cuz it's not finished yet.

I was seeing all these videos with titles saying the marvels would be the worst movie Marvel ever made, that it would be a disaster, that it sucked, and a person saying 'They used AI generated art to make Brie Larson smile in the trailer' (which, wtf is wrong with people?). I found you guys searching for someone not filled with hate for a movie i already love, and you, sir, are the first male person I've seen who hasn't ranted about how the marvels is the worst thing ever to happen in human existence, so thank you. I'm a fan now 😁 One question - are you guys thinking about doing a reaction video after you see the movie and to talk about what you thought of it??? Because i would LOVE to see that! The fandom has decided what Monica's motivations about Carol were from a tiny reaction in one episode of Wandavision. The series never said that Carol abandoned Maria and Monica or that Carol never returned to Earth after 1995. Because a series (Wandavision) that wasn't about their history didn't show their history doesn't mean there isn't any. Until some content actually addresses what happened, we don't actually know what happened. It's all just fan conjecture that's been accepted as fact. Just saying...

Apparently from projections/prediction box office records it won't gain alot of money. There's articles on it but I think the same happened for Captain Marvel and it still done good.
