I am permanently disgusted by a person who abused me deep within my psyché and my body, and who did it again and again as soon as II managed to forgive, and still the person just wanted to bring me down through abuse, because the person does not accept being challenged even when going wrong, and I did stand against the evil doings of that person and he started behaving like a hellish animal. And the person is friends with the official authorities, so no one was there to stop him. I had to defend my own health all alone with a careless, self centered and possessive person. Am I a pharisee if now I want to see that person no more in my life, for my own sanity , while not holding any debt to that person in my heart ? Even while not being able to have a tendancy to despise that person ? But then, the person still tries to reach me, playing as if suffering from me, like if I was the one to hurt him. Am I a pharisee if II find no other way but closing the door of my life to him ?

Be at peace. This Spyridons judgement (for he is judging, even as he puts on airs of innocence) is not of the Gospel of Christ. Christ struck out against hypocritically judging. Like if someone made the judgement that judgement itself is sin. Hypocrisy is of the devil, and hypocrites will be judged as impossibly as they judged others. Don't you know the Saints, the faithful in Christ, will judge the world? Sound, fair, consistsnt judgement is the way of the Gospel. Right judgement by someone like you is a gift of God to sinners because it gives them knowledge for repentance. No, you don't go around executing people, as Jesus didn't kill the woman at the well. We all know that. But did you see how the serpent in the video slipped from that point to one where he claims every judgement you make, in word and mind, is sin? It's an astonishing sleight of hand now that it's pointed out, isnt it? Judgement being the Lord's means that proper authorities deal with crime, because they are God's agents on this earth for that purpose. It does not mean you are sinning for seeing evil as evil and saying so.

I find myself judging too many people (including close family) under the premise of me caring and worrying for them so they would repent and not continue sinning. As a relatively recently converted Christian I want to help as many people as I can, help them to return to Christ and to love Him, as Saint John Chrysostom says "There is nothing colder than a Christian who does not seek to save others.". However, it's been difficult not falling into the trap of apparently showing kindness to them by telling them what they should or shouldn't do according to the commandments and ways of Christ, but deep down having a superiority complex and feeling greater than them, like trying to "teach" them. This video really helped me understand how we as sinners should never see other people's sins and judge them even if our intention is apparently good. Perhaps there is a middle point where we can help people without being judgmental, we just have to find the middle point of it, and we can only do that by asking God for His discernment and wisdom. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
