I have to give Rowling credit, she’s overseeing and caretaking her creation akin to how Christopher Tolkien protected his father’s Legendarium. It’s rare to see a creative ensure their vision is retained, rather than handing off the IP and riding into the sunset with the bag.

I never was a fan of the series at the beginning, but as of late for the past couple of years, I've been listening to the audiobook versions quite a bit. Been quite relaxing listening to them for the past few days as I've been recovering from surgery.

In other words, despite J.K. Rowling's opinions in social media, everyone would like to make money and accrue fame. There has been many movie disasters, due to previous failures of other Amazon trolls So many financial failures in the business. I for one would also like to see someone make a movie out of 13 Treasures book. 😏 (I don't care if the fairies are gay).

There are several thing at play. JKRs opinions. JKRs posts. JKRs quoted opinions. They shouldn’t get mixed up. We don’t know what she actually thinks. We might know what she posted, assuming nothing has been messed with or taken out of context, misinterpreted. Anything quoting her should be ignored at this point or at the very least be traced back to the original post before judging. Many people seemed to be very quick to want to villainise but very few to actually ask for clarification. My takeaway from the whole saga is that many humans are terrible communicators. But it doesn’t necessarily make them bad humans. Take time with someone to try and understand what they are clumsily trying to say, before you decide they are irredeemable. I can think of a few people I’d put in that category, but they are mostly politicians and journalists.
