I encourage anyone suffering mental disorders to give psilocybin a go. Start very low and go slow. It’s made a massive difference in my life. I’ve struggled with depression and addiction for over 30 years. Last few years I had made significant improvement. I’ve just come off mirtazapine about a month ago. Tapered over 3 months from 30mg to 7.5. After that I had to take 7.5 once every 4/5 days because of the awful itching and stinging in hands and feet, never mind the headaches. Doc didn’t mention that when he prescribed it! I’ve been able to sleep pretty regularly and my mood has only improved as mirtazapine wasn’t really working. I can only attribute this to psilocybin. Also, I used to drink half a bottle of wine 3-5 times a week. Not problematic but too often for my liking. I now only have the same once every 7-14 days. Again, thanks mushrooms.

These substance seem to create a temporary bridge between the dream world and the real world. Dreams are a way of looking at your life's situation from a different perspective and subconsciously helping plan decisions. Psychedelics can help bring this perspective into the conscious mind so you can act on it.

It felt to me more like… it turned my inner thoughts into a visual. I have severe ADHD, and it’s like I have 1,000 thoughts all at once, scattered, and i joke with people that it’s a miracle I can even string a sentence together because I have to funnel all those thoughts out and have them be coherent 😂 and when I took 4G of mushrooms for the first time taking them in almost 20 years, it felt more like instead of thinking things, I could feel and see them.. all the things I felt and saw specifically pertained to what was recently on my mind. From people to TV shows I was currently watching (which fortunately or unfortunately for me was the show Lucifer… 😅) but I could see how everything was connected. Even though I was really just seeing stars basically, I could feel it too, and it just made sense. My feelings were expressed visually.

Well, taking antidepressants has proved to be very harmful and not helping depression at all unless I keep bumping up the dose and switching pills.
