Yeshua points to us in the text observing how JACOB reminds us of our own weaknesses, whereas YESHUA, is neither weak or vulnerable in terms of obedience.

Why did Bible did not say specifically that Jacob's decision was wrong? I have read this chapter many times and I did not understand this until I watched this video.

Great teaching Pastor. However I still don't understand why the Lord used such a strong word as hate when talking about the two brothers. Perhaps some idea has been lost in translation over the years. God is truly Love towards his people. All that he "puts up with" in his people's lives surely shows his unconditional love for us

Esau was not content with what he had he wanted to kill his brother how is that content he saw was never content and neither were his children if you want to kill somebody and take what they have you are not content

Why are you speaking against Jacob when God had already promised them the promise to Jacob Isaac was the one that wanted to talk to have the promise so it wasn't going to happen anyway and now you're making God's plan look like it's foolish that's not right because the most I said that false prophets will speak in favor of themselves

Surely you’re not suggesting Pastor Guzik is a false prophet. I suggest you watch his video on Genesis chapter 27. What Jacob and Rebecca did was wrong. Yes, the blessing was already his because God had spoken it. God didn’t need Rebecca and Jacob’s help for His plan to be brought forth. And God certainly doesn’t condone lies and deceit. And what Pastor Guzik is saying is that if Rebecca and Jacob would have trusted God, there would have been no deceit and possibly no bad blood between Jacob and Esau.
