I'm not gonna disclose my age but I will say that I'm old enough to recall vividly everything regarding the Menendez proceedings and they were denied a fair trial the 2nd time by one of the people that's supposed to remain impartial... The JUDGE! The judge wouldn't allow any mention of their $exual abuse because, according to the judge, it wasn't until AFTER they committed 187, that they concocted that story... Yet there were MULTIPLE family members who were told about it by the brothers YEARS before they finally retaliated. This was the EXACT definition of self defense and they were RAILROADED! It seems to me that if they (the prosecutors and judge) didn't convict them, they weren't gonna be reelected, they knew that and they stacked the deck against Lyle and Erik. Those two are the REAL victims (not to say that the parents, people I refuse to put names to, aren't victims), they lived in terror and they're being punished in a different way now when they should be treated like heros by all the others that have had the wrong things happen to them whether we know about them or not. They are continuing to be wronged every day they spend incarcerated. If you're reading this and you've seen the movie "The Rock", the Menendez Boys and Mason (Sean Connery) have a LOT in common being that they're all getting screwed!

The psychological abuse they suffered was even worse than the sexual abuse IMO. The fact that they were rich is why they ended up being convicted. I don't know about anyone else but I am excited for season 3 of Monster. I'm also hoping that one day in the future, we can get a Monster season of Bryan Kohberger who committed the murders of four University Idaho students. I think an in-depth analysis of that guy and the murderers being played out as well as the arrest and trial would be great to see. I think a good actor to play Bryan Kohberger could be Jake Gyllenhaal. That's just my preference because I see some similarities especially the way Jake Gyllenhaal looked in Nightcrawler. Anyways, these murders happened fairly recent so and the trial is set for June of 2025 I believe. I don't expect a season anytime soon.
