Great starter list! I’ve got 11K M30s on my home MM2 so far, machine is working great 6 years in. Depending on what you make, a Saunders Machine Works fixture plate and mod-vise system could be a good investment; it turned my MM2 into a brand new machine letting me use the entire extent of the travels. Most of the parts I make are flat plates for high school robotics teams, so it really helps with my workflow. For coolant, be sure to get a deionizer if your water is hard, and a refractometer to keep tabs on the concentration. Over time as you reconstitute your coolant the mineral content will increase if you use water straight from the tap. Happy chip making!

You forgot the coaxial toolholder and magbase indicators. Those are essential. One can achieve insane results by effectively using a test indicator. One can even pick up the underside of a surface if he accounts for the diameter of the stylus.

Sharpie’s are great, but be careful using on finished surfaces that get anodized.
