This song always remind me of the time back in the 80's of a wonderful and Loving woman named Sonya- where we met here in Albuquerque and we fell in Love! She has found me again a few years back where I married her and last year and we live a happy life together. I am very happy for you. One never forgets the good and bad in life. In the early 90's, the Moody Blues came to South Africa for a single concert at Sun City and my boss would not give me leave to go. They have never been back and I have never let go of the bitterness towards my former boss.

*Edward Pennacchini* once upon a time, in the 90's the Moody Blues were playing at Red Rocks in Colorado. I had enough fore warning, i could have got tickets at a reasonable price. But i mentioned it to my brother, & he told me "the Moody Blues suck... blah blah blah", & i was so used to doing what he said that i didn't go. I gutted my own instincts & just went along with what he said -that was my role in the family. I'm the youngest, so i do what every one else tells me. Little did i know, that very concert that i wanted to go to became a live album that the Moody Blues officially released later. It was at that point, that i just started flipping the bird when the rest of my family told me what to think or how to act. I could have participated in a once in a lifetime event, and letting their narrow views guide my decisions kept me from it. Enough of that! ;)

I love this song. Every time I hear it, someone cuts onions! Mine was named Sharkie. She lived in Pasadena and moved away with her family. I was in Virginia when she moved and we somehow lost contact. We were so in love. She was the kindest and most loving person ever and she had ankle-length wavy blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. She was my hippie angel! I miss her so bad even now and I am getting to be an old man. (That would have been in 1967 and 1968.) There are wounds that time never heals!

This song is a tear jerker for me, it makes me think about a great girl I'll call "Donna" whom I was madly in love with but didn't know it. I wish I could see her today and I'll never forgive myself for leaving her crying on her Mama's porch. It was a cold night in November 1973. My cold Bi-Polar heart made it happen. Amazing how this song is bringing up old memories, especially amongst the guys. Its the same for me . I met Tracy while studying in 1990 and was too slow, too inexperienced, too naïve to make her mine and a few months ago I found out that she was married with two children. It was a shock. I have never married and have no children, the scar will never heal.
