I see a lot of comments about HDD space being too much, so let's address that: Look, this overhaul is not for everyone. It's for those of you who don't mind having 350gb reserved by a single game to get all the juice possible. If that's not you, that's fine. You can download Football Life 25 with just a face pack. This will occupy much less space for a price of less amount of immersion and content. It won't have the same gameplay and content richness as what you see here. Something for something. And no, you cannot get the gameplay mod separetely - it seems to be an integral part of the Overhaul, not just DT18 file like with many gameplay mods.

It becomes second nature once you get used to them. Also, it makes your football matches more varied and less predictable/boring when you have to adapt to the different stadiums and angles, it feels more realistic.

I'm gonna give this a try once I free up some space in a few months, for now I'm enjoying football life which for me is half that, the new F4L gameplay completely changed the game for me, before I couldn't beat Superstar's defense coz they are that broken, now I can, and it feels like free flowing football until scripting every now and then, and it always put me off, all of sudden, players are slow, make horrible passing, can't defend and sometimes the ball passes the gk somehow, and trust me it's not because of the player's form...I haven't been playing it because of that recently, but now I have an alternate option

Hi, ive just downloaded this and unzipped it and copied the correct file to yhe doxuments folder etc. But when i click the fl2024.exe nothing happens. If i click fl2024_start.exe then sider opens but nothing else. I dont know why the game isnt opening at all? Did you have to do anything else to make the exe work?

i plan to swap to manual passing in the upcoming v2 release. Just to clarify is manual passing forced on? or is assisted still available but its just recommended for the modpack to be played in manual? great vid : )

You can theoretically switch to assisted as I heard, but it just won't work very well since they built it around manual passing. So I would say it's kinda forced on in this version. For the assisted version, I suggest waiting for the mega patch for FL25.

I'm definitely gonna get this when the updated version releases. I always liked PES more than FIFA and I used to download option files for the PS2 which updated all the names and kits and stuff. This looks like the ultimate version of that. Tried the latest FIFA's and they're just scripted soulless tripe. Looking forward to starting an ML team with Newcastle and adding some legends to the squad.

Both options are great. It rather depends on whether you're going to play assisted controls or manual passing and shooting. For assisted gameplay, I would recommend FL25 with the upcoming Megapatch. For manual controls, Fanurex Overhaul (especially now with version 2.0) is my recommendation. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly how much FL24 with megapatch and stadiums took, but I think it was in a 180gb ballpark.

I downloaded a played FL25 and played a few hours. At first I thought it was great at first but became frustrated by the overly physical defenders. Skillful players couldn’t really beat defenders and if you did players would get caught. Is this better?

Hey there, with the stadiums did they sort out the problems like Athletico Madrid squares and Bristol City Stadium getting in the way of the camera (as with loads of other stadiums totally ruining the game and making it unplayable). Is it all resolved??

Seems like that to me. There are custom cameras for different stadiums and I haven't had any issues with them being obscured or anything like that. I did have a look at Athletico Madrid and Bristol City stadiums and they play fine with stadium camera!

I recommend this one for FUMA and the F4L 4.4 for assisted gameplay. Having now dipped into FUMA more, I generally recommend to give it a good long shot :)

How do you like this compared to Football Life 25 when you take away the ease of installation? I've got lots of modding experience outside of PES 2021, so that's not an issue for me. More interested in how gameplay compares between the two.

Well, I was never a big fan of default Football Life gameplay mod to be honest. Fanurex's gameplay is the best manual gameplay iteration of PES21 that I have tried so far. But if you like assisted controls, then I suggest trying FL25 with F4L 4.4 gameplay mod (+Player Overhaul project roster).
