Orthodox Christianity tells the story of all those faithful christians who saw percicution for centuries for their faith in God. I'm Christian from Indian truly feel the God's presence in Ukraine and rebuild of those churches simply prove the everything will be vanished with the time but Jesus will remain as he was . I had seen most of these Cathedrals and churches during my visits to the city, however my favourite was not listed here, St Andrew's Church!! I am not a big fan of Baroque architecture but My first view took my breath away, inside is just as beautiful!! It came as no surprise finding out that the architect was the same for the The winter palace in Peter! Since then I have seen many such places in Lviv, Dnipro, Odessa and in the countryside!! Great video, thank you! Recent world events have prevented me from returning to Ukraine, hopefully soon!! It may sound silly to some but I regard the country as my second home!!

With all the chaos going on now, this video brings back bittersweet memories of a peaceful time. St. Volodymyr's was the first Orthodox Church I ever visited, and it left a lasting impression. I recall an elder woman, bent over with age and arthritis, still making her way to light a candle and worship. Well done Olena! Somehow I missed St Cyril church in my visits. Thanks for letting us know about these beautiful churches and monastery’s. If you take the advice from another of your viewers and go to Pyrohiv area for the historic churches don’t miss the Panteleimon cathedral outside of Feofaniya Park. I believe they have finished painting the inside by now. Simply stunning. Or the very new looking Svyato-Pokrovs’kyy Holosiyivs’kyy Monastyr.

Ambotsa Imo: Do you know the real situation in Ukraine? I received a Video from a German lady who lives in the Donetzk region. She explained that Ukrainian soldiers are attacking Ukrainian citizens. And then the media reports that the Russias bomarded Kiew. It's not like the MSM are reporting. Plus churches do not help. People need to be saved, otherwise they are lost. So inform yourself well, before you write anything. By the way, in that region the people are bombarded since 8 years by Ukrainian soldiers and almost no one reported about it.

All governments are corrupt and lying and since the so called plandemic, also much church leaders are involved in all kind of evil things and most of them do no longer preach the pure word of God. It's so obvious. Governments are cutting our rights, most judges do no longer judge justly! This has nothing to do with being a rich or a poor country. It's because we live in a fallen world. There is no truth outside of Jesus. It says in the bible in Romans 3, 4 that all men are liars. There is no righteous one, not a single one. Do you know where you will go when you die? Are you sure you will go to heaven? If not, please repent and turn to Jesus. Only His precious blood can save you, because he died for you. He loves you that much. He doesn't want you to go to hell, that's not our destiny. But if we reject hin, we will be cancelled from the book of life. God bless you and He may open your eyes that you realize that He is waiting for you to come to him. There is little time left until He comes back again. In the bible it also says: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words will never pass away. Matthew 24, 35. So all those buildings will soon no longer be there. They aren't of any value compared to eternity. Soon tribulation will start as predicted in the bible. that's gonna be very horrible. Yes, heaven and earth will be destroyed, but the Lord Jesus makes a new heaven and a new earth.

Firstly, thank you once again for a well presented and informative introduction to some of the historical religious sites and sights of Kyiv...I would agree that for any visitor to your city, this would be a great excursion. Just breathtaking. I have many happy memories exploring the tunnels, the bell towers, the iconography, and even the museum of miniatures within the same monastery complex. ( It was probably omitted as it is not a religious building in its own right, however still also worth a visit despite no photography being allowed inside.) The quality of your films and choice of music make for very professional films. You are duly proud of your city and culture, and your passion shines through your presentations. Personally, I cannot thank you enough, as it reminds me of the joy and excitement I had when I discovered Kyiv, as a city, for the first time a couple of years ago... Your films only make me count the days until I can return. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
