So cool to see some (possibly actual human interaction) - we can ALL become more human, once in a while, and let our natures peek through. Unless it was carefully orchestrated in advance, as we have known to happen before, it was refreshing to see the human side emerge.! Thank you Magic Carpet! Never forget, it is all right to be proven "just" human!

This is another WOW. That opening shot gave me chills, with Maya playing the violin. I've shared this episode (along with others) as it's a shame more people haven't seen it. You need to win an award for your eloquent, insightful, and poetic commentary. You are both unique and we all love and support your adventures. Please just keep being you(rselves). Love from Canada :)

Great video guys... My paternal grandparents came to America from Italy so these are particularly fun for me. Thanks, and my prayer is to get there myself... Of particular fascination was the last couple minutes of this video, reality always trumps everything else in all ways. Great Stuff, Kudos Aladino's deplomacy, and Maya for the violin👍🏻🎻 God Bless🙏🏻⛵🐬

I am happy you said what you did about tourists and the need for them. There is and has been a great move in the United States to discourage tourists by tourists themselves and more often by the very people who have a job because of tourists. They would be happy to hold their jobs if only the tourist would not clutter up the scenery. As always like your sailing and music.

Where is a good place to find a small house with a garden and a view to the ocean!? I do not need to live close / on the beach... One can always drive down to a beach when one wish... But good internet, air condition and a balcony to see the ocean and a garden for my dog is all I need... But where to begin to look for such a dream village!? Any suggestions!? 🤷🏼♂️😇😀 New to this channel! Just found you guys today... Hope to hear from you 🙏🏻🙋🏼♂️ Ciao!!

Hi Maya. If you liked Cefalù, check out Erice on top of the mountain adjacent to Trapani (on the other side of Palermo). That is a jaw dropping place. You can walk from the port of Trapani through the entire city (a very nice place, too) then take the cable car or walk up the mountain to Erice. You will like it. There is a gelateria there claiming to make the best ice cream on the planet. It is possibly true. Best regards, Silvano

I would strongly recommend that you use a threadlocker on those engine mount bolts. Also, check what the torque value is and torque them to spec. Properly torqued, and with a threadlock they won't vibrate out again. Seems like too much vibration on the engine too, just sayin.....
@trentbush385 жыл бұрын
Yes, Aladino. Threadlock and a properly calibrated torque wrench on those engine mount bolts.
@birdwing985 жыл бұрын
I second the opinion the vibration is excessive. Hope it smooths out at a high RPM. Seems very stressful to engine mounts to idle.

I love to watch your videos, featuring slow, reflective, travels. If you're looking for suggestions for next season, may I propose covering foods discovered along the way. Not restaurant food but the kinds of things people are buying in markets, featuring traditional cuisine ("Bourdainesque" coverage, as it has been called). For example, did you know Sicilian is influenced North African cuisine? Cinnamon, dates, figs but also grilled fish. And would it not be great to see an episode with market foods (and wines!), with a little bit of history behind the dish? No other sailing channel features this and I think it would nicely complement your city wanderings and musings.

Guy's isn't the engine vibrating to much ? Even when it is cold it shouldn't vibrate / shaking so heavy. Maybe weak engine mount, else check the injectors or even compression.

as a mechanic, those engine mounts give me the creeps. 8mm bolts are way to small to mount an engine. those mounts shoult be tightened with 60 Nm 10.9 grade 10mm bolt. Those 8mm 8.8 grade bolts will come loose or brake.

That motor is shaking too much, wrong mounts or timing wrong or something else. No wounder the bolt came out, it will again unless you put some loctite on it
