The Trident is far from the "most boring motorcycle ever." Low down torque with the "triple" smooth power in the mid and upper ranges! Nice build and looks too! In my opinion, Triumph did an excellent job attracting riders new and experienced to the brand with this roadster.

@@orangesonicc the street triple might be a litle too much for a brand new rider. Not to mention that depending on the country, the couple grand price difference can be quite significant. Yes you did touch on the "cheaper" point, but it's quite the price diference, percentage wise.

The „special“ sound on the 675 comes from the straight cut gears on the balancing shaft (less power losses), either you love it or hate it. I think it sounds kinda cool like a jet turbine of some sort but regardless of the sound the performance is really something else for the cc the bike has, 80% of the torque comes on at 4000 rpm and you can wind the shit out of the bike till around 14000 rpm and the cherry on top the bike weighs around 180 kg (400 lbs) Don’t come at me I’m just simping a lil 💪🏽

Man, I think is not an issue with the bike, I think the issue is with the roads. You are testing a bike that was specifically designed to be light and agile in Europe's twists in the infinite american straight roads. Every time I get on this bike, the first thing I do is turn off Traction Control. Completely different feel and harder, smoother acceleration. I've seen a test where they were getting > 4 sec 0-60mph times with TC on and around 3.4 seconds with it turned off. It's a very restrictive TC and also seems to be the reason for the "laggy" throttle in my experience. Oh, and make sure you're in Road mode. It's an absolute blast around 45-60mph roads and city streets.

When i wear normal shoes i never have any issues with changing gears so i was curious if maybe that style of boots are not suited for the bike or if im just somehow doing something wrong

I did back-to-back test drives on the Mt-07, trident and the Honda Hornet. Going from the 07 to the trident was a major buzzkill.. felt sluggish and boring. Then going back to the hornet had me smiling for an hour straight. I actually canceled the Mt07 i had ordered and went for the hornet instead. Havent regretted it for a second

I have a modified Trident 660. Let me tell you, stock, the bike is boring. But an Exhaust, Quickshifter, Tune, Intake and its a completely new bitch. I reviewed both this and the street triple. Triples are an acquired taste let me tell you :)

Very unfair title, especially considering how much fun you clearly had. And it’s not just a beginner bike. Far from it. Video gets a thumbs down. Bike gets a thumbs up.

take this motorcycle where there are corners and make this video again ;) Believe me, you will want more ;) Triumph made a premium motorcycle in the mid-class ;)

Dealerships are asking $12,000 for them, so it's a bit too expensive for a beginner rider but too expensive for anyone else.

Where are you located? I just got a 2023 brand new for 10K (with taxes and fees). They are retailing for 8.7K for the new colors this year; which is right in like with the 600 nakeds.

@@MattSpartan145 Near Atlanta, GA. I was actually in the market for a commuter-type bike, and they wouldn't give me the out the door price for a week, then hit me with 12K.

@@langhamp8912 Wow. Dude that blows. I'm near Indianapolis, IN and they were pretty good. Couldn't get them to knock off any off the price, but they gave me 3k for my cb300r

@@asiagobagel8293 I mean, I ended up buying a pristine used 2016 Suzuki GSXS1000F with 3100 miles for $6750 after taxes and paperwork. So buying used is always going to be a lot cheaper.
