Dudes. I ate 12 grams of golden teacher mushrooms a couple of days ago that I grew from a kit. I wonder if they turned bad or something because my trip wasn't super intensive even though it was very good. It felt more like a 2-3 gram trip from what I have read the effects usually are at that 2-3 grams. I had full control the whole time and I could speak to people and stuff like that. I didn't have any open eye visuals or something like that. How can this be? Can some people be incredible resilient to psilocybin or something? Or am I perhaps very stuck in my ego or something? The thing is that I left the growth kit closed for 2 weeks when in fact you should open it as soon as you get it. Maybe that made the shrooms weaker? This was actually my first mushroom trip!

It's maybe fortunate they didn't work. If they had 12g is a crazy dose, especially for a first time. I've found kit grown mushrooms though to be quite weak.

12g dried mushrooms? If you hadn't dried them then you didn't take 12g.

@@LordOfFlies They were dried. I had over 100 grams when they were fresh. I had them in a dryer for many hours until they were stiff and breaking easily. Still, the experience was very nice though. My pupils was big as shark eyes. But I did some things wrong with the growth kit. I opened it 2 weeks after I got it instead of opening it immediately because of low knowledge. Then I found the pamphlet and realized my mistake. Perhaps they grew weak because of the lack of oxygen during those two weeks?

@@greenjay8096 Yeah, perhaps it was lucky. My friend told me that as well. But it was still a very nice experience. But that same person has had kit grown mushrooms and gotten way more powerful trips on fewer grams than me. I should also say that I first started with 5g and nothing happened after an hour, then I took the rest and then things started to happen. But I'm after the ego killing experience and I haven't experienced that yet. I want to explore my mind and the universe within so I can find what I'm afraid of so that I can free myself from guilt, regret, shame and all other things so that I can feel more relaxed.

I have a friend who also botched a shroom growing kit, I don't remember the reason though. 12g should have made you trip balls on an extreme scale no matter your body chemistry. Maybe try again and do some more research beforehand. And don't take that much lol. I did 3g my first trip and it was very intense in a unpleasant manner. I also smoked weed before which I think was a mistake. It felt like I was stuck in a false time loop I couldn't get out of. 5g is the largest dose I have taken and I had insane visuals and talked with cockroaches in the wall.

Just had an idea.. keep seeing these rawdog vids of so called influencers taking flights and staring at the plane screen for the whole flight. I think a new rawdog should be to take a huge dose of lsd or a mind bending physch of your choice and sit through and raw dog VIVEC horror trips. That will separate the men from the boys..
