Two things 1: Godzilla 1998 is a male 2: Shin had no malicious intentions and was just in constant pain

Genuine question: What makes you say that Godzilla 1998 is male? Since he laid eggs, wouldn't he have to be female or hermaphroditic? Or perhaps undergo protandry like a clownfish? Obviously they don't go into the gritty details in the movie, but we can at least assume he has the necessary hardware for popping out eggs, so I'm unclear how you can say he's male so definitively. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see how the text supports that idea.

I have a theory about this series, and how it could be leading up to something god awful for the world. During this series the Man in the suit is seen evolving, having large, bloodshot eyes, and even using his own blood as atomic breath. doesn’t that sound familiar? Even in Dorsal Extraction, his jaw almost appears split. There is potential that The Man in the Suit could grow, and evolve directly into Shin Godzilla. The evolution, being originally normal but changed by radiation, the split jaw, the giant eyes. Even the boiling blood vomit could be a reference to a deleted scene from Shin Godzilla. If this series continues the way it is, 2016 will likely be eventful. Also, the 2 American Godzilla movies are CGI, which could be TOHO Not wanting America to find out about the Man in the Suit.

This type of analog horror gives me f-kin chills because of how real it can be, i know the Godzilla suit basically controlling the guy is a bit ridiculous and there’s more realistic AH’s (urbanspook is an example of a realistic AH although it being awful) but this could become very real getting stuck inside a heavy, sweaty rubber suit via semi nuclear radiation (or through some other method) is extremely chilling and more realistic in the right circumstances Unimportant info: in fact idk what the creepy pasta is called it I remember it being oldish about a carnival mascot worker doing his job in a mascot suit on a really hot summer day getting basically… well melted into the suit because no one wanted to help him and they found him in a storage room dead (presumably) and a month or 2 later there was reports of some sort of mascot (the same one the worker was wearing) on a highway carrying a dead body, I can’t remember if that’s exactly what the premise of it was but I remember it keeping me up at night even though I was in my late teens

'The Man In The Suit' is a compelling concept, but the writing reads Junior High - and not a Junior High school student with literary talent. If the creators intended to give it that 'amateur' 'poor translation' feel, they overdid it. Nobody on the Toho sets seem to have any names, which I think is a bad idea because they're linking their series to a real movie with credited actors and crew. If you like 'monster' Godzilla, have you watched 'Godzilla 1984 (1985),' 'Godzilla vs Biollante (1989),' or 'Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah (AKA 'GMK')? All of these films kind of 'reboot' Hero Godzilla into a real monster. The 'GMK' Godzilla is really striking. If you think the atomic bombings were the 'cruelest' act of War, google 'r@pe of Nanking 1937.'

But this is meant to be fictional, therefore the actor of the suit also unnamed. You think Toho would let the creator use every single accurate thing for a fan series? Hell no they wouldn't. That's a copyright strike, and we all know those aren't worth it.

@elliotnutella8044 11 ай бұрын
@@hunty.0 That's... not how copyright strikes work? Like that's not what a copyright strike is lmao, the issue would be using irl people in certain ways without their permission. The problem is they're using the actual movies and costumes from history but changing the people in it. Changing details to fit the horror theme, and I explained how that breaks the immersion as someone who knows how much of it is just incorrect.

@@elliotnutella8044 But the thing is, as I stated, this is an alternate version so yeah, things are gonna get changed because the creator doesn't want this to be another documentary of original Godzilla. This is no different than Jurassic Park making velociraptors much bigger than the actual fossils, and even how Spinosaurus somehow bested a T-Rex. If it bothers you that much, then simply don't watch it and stick to documentaries.
@elliotnutella8044
@elliotnutella8044 11 ай бұрын
@@hunty.0 If you paid attention to what I said, the issue is if they want to change history they shouldn't base it off of irl events so closely. You also are saying if it bothers me I shouldn't watch it when I literally was just saying in my original comment that I can't get into it bc this unusual thing bugs me lmao. I never complained about it not being a 1-1 doccumentary, that comment from you is kind of out of nothing and just comes off like a petty way to disregard the validity of someone else's opinion lol.

@@elliotnutella8044 I don't see how a guy in a suit and always wore it even to his home before he somehow grows into it is "changing history" since that didn't happen irl at Toho and is fiction just like Godzilla itself, but you do you, guy.

since people keep praising this series to no end, I want to be critical with the flaws in it the “concept” of the series is good. the suit fusing and changing the person and mutating them into actual kaijus is interesting BUT the execution of that concept is… a mess the horror is interesting in some areas but the whole “this is what we expect- this is what we found” then show the outline of the kaiju with a bunch of scribble just look goofy af (funny how he said the series is avoiding analog tropes but this horror series is basing its horror on the exact thing urbanspook did- but worse- and urbanspook is already a shit show of a series) the human outline inside the suit is also not great the gojira escape photos are quite cool but thats the best I can say about it outside of the grammatical error, the story is also super illogical you are telling me that TOHO, a movie making company, after having one of its hired actors fused with a monster suit, not only let him just go home without doing anything, but also allowing him to come back and do more films and treat him like how the scp foundation treat scp 682? and still use him for movies even after he has shown being a threat to the people around him, especially his fellow actors? and the reason is… to cut cost?… there is a limit to suspension of disbelief and this is far beyond that it is not remotely logical yes, suits fusing with human is not the most realistic thing but it is the concept of the series and the rest of the series is supposed to make us- if not believe it is real- then accept the story maybe an explanation that TOHO isn’t a movie making company but a research center or something… but no it is too caught up in the concept and outcome that it didn’t put any effort in polishing the story itself the series’ story has gotten better over time but as of now it is still a mess in many aspects

I know it has great potential to grow and I know it have a great concept. I already said that I’m not telling people to hate on it or saying it is worthless I am simply pointing out the flaws that are too big and is repeating too much to ignore key word: “repeating” that is why I brought up urbanspook case. now, I know this series is progressing (as I have also already said) but it has left some important areas unchecked important areas that are not related to budget. areas about plot and effort that can be fixed right now. and if it can be fixed now then fixing it sooner would be more preferable to later. that is simply what I believe. if you disagree and feel like it can fix itself soon then cool. but that doesn’t mean you have to go protect it against, what I see, is fair criticism.

Gamejacking of a gamejacking arg. Can't believe people are still gassing up Man in the Godzooky suit when the creator has tried at every step to destroy as much immersion as possible. It also doesn't help we know alot behind the scenes for the production of almost all the godzilla flims, and he doesn't play in that very much. One thing I do have to credit them for is they upload consistently unlike 100s of other internet horror things before. Hi I'm a hardcore Godzilla fan and have been for the past 10 years and I'm going to explain to all of you why I think this series is really dumb and I as a Godzilla fan can't enjoy it. The man in the suit, as of right now, takes place between the original 1954 film and Mothra vs Godzilla 1964, me being fucking insane have encyclopedic knowledge on everything about Godzilla including the production. In 1954 we are led to believe that the man in the suit is an unknown individual who took the job and got a little freaky with the suit. First of all, we do have documentation of the mAn In ThE sUiT, his name is Haruo Nakajima, there are many photographs of him acting as Godzilla through these four films, you can even find pictures of him with only the lower half of the suit on. Second of all, there is no way that Toho wouldn't keep documentation of the person they had in suit, leading to everyone not knowing who's in the Godzilla suit. The first part isn't perfect, but if you suspend your disbelief then maybe it can work. Also the cinematography in that part is pretty terrible. The second part is where my gripes really begin to show, we are led to believe that the Godzilla man bit into the head of the Anguirus suit actor causing him to become infected with whatever the Godzilla guy has. The problem with this is that the Godzilla biting the Anguirus is clearly a puppet biting another puppet and NOT the the suit actor biting the other suit actor, thus both of them would have been perfectly safe. I feel I should also mention that the picture of the man inside the Anguirus suit after he grew into shows that the flesh grew into his horns, which were most likely solid pieces and not hollow like the image leads us to believe. Also the image is a silhouette of Anguirus 1968, not Anguirus 1955. The picture that is supposed to show Godzilla being animalistic and guarding the Anguirus man is actually a desaturated image of a statue portraying Godzilla 1955 and not an image of the suit. Now one of my biggest gripes is how the suit changes throughout the series. I could easily believe that the 1955 suit is just the 1954 suit molding and conforming to the man's body but the suit is clearly way different in 1962. There is NO way that the 1954 suit that this dude is supposedly fused to could expand to the proportions of the 1962 suit, it would have ripped the suit apart due to the material it was made of. By 1964 it has a different amount of toes and no ears and completely different tail and completely different proportions. In the third episode it says that Godzilla tried to drown Shoichi Hirose in the Kong suit. In reality Hirose was a much stronger man than Nakajima, and Hirose was wearing a lighter suit. Nakajima was the one that almost drowned and died during that scene, Hirose was completely fine. Finally to the Mothra episode. This one is fucking stupid, it is genuinely fucking stupid. They make the bold claim that the suit actress is in the Mothra larva which is inaccurate. First of all, the very first female suitmation actor wouldn't show up until the 90's where Yuhmi Kaneyama played Super Gyaos in Gamera Guardian of the Universe. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY THE LARVAE WEREN'T PEOPLE IN SUITS. The mothra larvae were puppets with wheels underneath and conveyor belts inside to give the illusion of life. They were moved using string, they did not have people inside, nor were they big enough to have people inside. The only time a Mothra larva has been portrayed using suitmation was in the original Mothra film. One thing I did like about this episode is how they mentioned that they put cloudy contacts on the Godzilla guy's eyes. Now that explains why his eyes look super cloudy in that movie BUT IT DOENS'T FUCKING EXPLAIN WHY IT'S A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FUCKIGN SUIT. Finally I would like to say that since this took place in the mid 50's early 60's VHS doesn't exist yet.
