Ever since my family and I went swimming with Stingrays at the Cayman Islands, I won’t ever be at arms length with wild animal again! I had a major panic attack even though I didn’t come into contact with one it was scary enough! I can totally see how you feel Kane, in a way with the sea 😆

His fear of water is so sweet! Pia and Kane are so cute also bc she with no pressure helps him try new things, and although he was afraid you could tell he was happy by looking into his eyes when he was in the ocean ^^ and the footage was soooo good!

Wow Kane! I think its great that you went into the ocean!! My husband taught me to snorkel on our honeymoon in Madagascar and I was incredibly scared! but I surprised myself by snorkelling everyday after that multiple times a day AND in the deeper water!! You guys are honestly an awesome couple! Pia is so patient and understanding. Keep the videos coming!!

my dad suffers from the same fear but once we actually went snorkelling close to coral reefs and also with dolphins with him and he saw how amazing it can be he was mesmerised and couldn't wait to see it again. well done getting into the water. it will only get better from there:)

I feel you Kane on the swimming. I've had many sessions of swimming. I've even gone into a 13 foot pool stayed on the bottom and come up but afterwards the fear was so paralyzing I couldn't go back. Don`t worry you'll get there.

Y'all make such a cute couple and beautiful videos! It's enjoyable to watch up close videos of life in action of places I have never been. Btw, learning to swim by snorkeling in the ocean is a BIG step! Basically same thing happen with my husband on our honeymoon in Hawaii. He got stressed out and upset with me trying to teach him so learning beforehand is a good idea. Hopefully the pool lesson went well for y'all!

Don't worry about it, Kane. I'm 68 and still can't swim! I was thrown in the water at least twice when I was a kid and I've never recovered from my fear of the water. If we were meant to swim we would have gills!

While I am a very capable swimmer, I can fully understand Kane's issue with snorkelling in the ocean. I am still battling with overcoming my fear of swimming where I can't see the bottom or properly gauge depth. I have successfully snorkelled, and enjoyed snorkelling in many countries but must have coral on the ocean floor to help me gauge depth. Without it, I hyperventilate and have a panic attack. Hope you overcome it because the world underwater is facinating and worth a look first hand!

Was all of that dead/dying corals? It looked like it. So insanely sad to think we won't have coral reefs in 50 years because of warming oceans and acidification. :/ your shots are amazing in this vlog, that fact just made me so sad.

Negin Yaghooti not it was very healthy. Different coral holds different colours depending on which creatures live in it apparently. I also saw super blue coral too. Just depends on a few variables I guess but this coral wasn’t bleached. Thank goodness.

I understand how Kane feels.. I have a fear of being in deep water (from a near drowning incident as a child) and never really learnt to swim. But it was very important for me to have my kids know this skill so they're good swimmers.
