I drove from Florida to Kentucky for the db drag and oldschool meet. There's a funny story behind that amp. I've been trying to buy a T15k for about 4 years. As many know, this amp just doesn't go up for sale often. Mike beat me to it by 7 minutes when it got posted. 😓 I messaged and congratulated Mike for his purchase and told him even though he beat me to the punch, there was no one I felt better losing to. He definitely was the right guy to get this piece of history. It was really awesome getting to meet some of my "Oldschool car audio" Facebook friends, face to face. And to finally get to put my hands on a T15k was worth the 18 hour drive!

I’ve always wanted a Dodge Grand Caravan to do a full, hidden system. Lithium batteries along with the amps under the floor in the middle seat in floor storage area, remove the third row seat and build a nice subwoofer box flush with the floor back there, component 6 1/2” speakers in all of the factory 6X9 locations, and get a factory 220 amp alternator from the Ram Promaster van to replace the factory 160 amp alternator. The entire system would be 100% hidden, be clean, and capable of getting loud! GREAT video Big D!!

10 hours??? Its taken me like 10 DAYS to just install my mids and tweeters in my Honda CR-V. Tbf I'm ocd about everything and there were a few setbacks, but that's still rediculous. That system would take me months to finish.

Back in the 90's , in Lyon, France as car audio shop named "Carmania" 5 times consecutive Champion IASCA Europe we got a Rockford amplifier (200DSM if I remember correctly) to power all the full range speakers on the display board and they were over 40, that sucker played all day at about 25% the volume. There is a reason for thir price tag.

Someone used a rental vehicle for dbdrag finals in 2003 or 2004 street b. Was a jeep wrangler with the rear seat removed. DJ Billy E doing burnouts in the parkade... Getting pics in the gates kicker beast. The weekend prior was getting a full demo from Gary Biggs (regal)and Mark Eldridge (4runner)... great times 36hr drive...low level flight, with naps

The system is cool and all but forget all that, the t15 is the sickest thing you’ve ever shown on this channel. I got goosebumps when I saw the thumbnail. That is one of the dopest amps ever made period. You forget to mention Tony D’Amore also designed it (I think in totality). I believe it’s a pure class A/B (a true class A/B meaning one +/- set of supply rails driving the output stages) and is said to be extremely accurate and musical. I hope you asked him if you can dyno it 😂😂 (we know it’ll do it’s rated power, but it’d be totally epic to see it).

Makes me miss my old RF setup in my old 97 Chevy ext cab. 4 RF Punch DVC 12s on 2 RFP 125s. Along with 2 RF 6.5 components and a pair of 4x6s on 2 RFP 45s. I also swapped the 12s out for 4 RFP 18s. Pushed a 149.8 with the 12s and 151.7 with the 18s. Not bad for the 1998-2001 years.

In 2000 my friend and I had a small shop in a small northern Ontario town. I built a total Rockford system with 2 Hx2 power 12’s on 2 Bd 1000’s. 2 Rockford Fosgate 1 farad caps. 2 pairs of Fanatic X 6.5’s up front in custom kick pods and another set in the rear running off a Power 550x and a Punch 300s all linked together to look like one big amp. Rockford 9300 head unit with the copper body. I think for in it’s time it slammed. Almost needed a second job to pay for it all. 😂

I always lived their amplifiers and I remember back in the early 2000's my friends and I pairing RockFordFosgate amps with JL Audio subs especially the W-7 series it back then few combinations hit harder or louder that RockFordFosgate and JL Audio subs! In 2001 threw 2002 I had a worked a sales job then eventually got my own shop. Until 2005. We sold jvc alpine kicker Rockford. At the time Rockford was the loudest thing around. Alpine had the best quality of sound and speaker build quality was far superior. Jvc was good starter stuff The stobe sub was pretty awesome. It would be really interesting to see Fosgate or kicker go after sundown. Try something crazy They have the tech department, it would be awesome

@@DreamBeamz I'm sure it could. Those amps are pushing 20 years old now. I'm bet it sounded great. Did you have Punch DVC's or Power DVC's like in the video? The powers had the huge cooling vent in the back of the motor(see video to see what I'm talking about)they were both great speakers(I had both at different times) but the Power series were just crazy. I would have loved to get my hands on a set of the Team RF like they also showed here.

@@DreamBeamz Yeah, those were the regular Punch DVC's. They were great subs. Those were my first set of "big boy" speakers. I knew a guy that had 8 of them on a MMATS D200HC like we had. It was loud as hell, but they were in a sealed box and technically under powered. It was still the shit back in 1999.

LOL i had a power 300 Mosfet on 3 12's open air in the boot of my little peugeot.. then later on i bought a commercial peugeot.. same model and changed to a 18 inch Pro sub powered by said Power 300 Mosfet.. and boy.. it would make the fluid in your eyes vibrate and everything got fussy and blurry.. damn i miss that setup.. Now 2 12 inch punch P2's on a taramps bass3k and they bump!!!
