As a once 22 year old antitheistic atheist that was cheated on by my 21 year old evangelical ex because I wasn’t Christian and had the integrity to stand up for my atheism to her and all my Christian backstabbing friends who cheered her on for cheating and laughed as I suffered because of a broken heart, wanting HER to show some integrity to our relationship enough to even speak to me about it while she ran off ghosting me and having an affair with a 50 year home wrecking pilot old enough to be her father, I have the integrity to say that I laugh at your religious preachiness as if the religious have integrity and the irreligious do not as well as the suggestion that integrity makes you win or that the 50 year old pilot creep she ran off with is somehow a man of integrity when he wouldn’t stop himself from knowingly engaging in an affair with a 21 year old girl when he is old enough to be her father while breaking a young mans heart. The suggestion that smoking weed has something to do with integrity is also a joke. Carl Sagan smoked weed and he is a world renown and beloved antitheistic atheist scientist that campaigned for the moon missions and sent a satellite Mars. I’d rather be the scientifically minded antitheistic atheist with real integrity that I am rather than some “man of god” like you or like her or like him.

Jared, you did an awesome job with this video! I took a 1k loss last week on a stock I should have never been in. Every element was AGAINST my trading plan 1. Wrong price range I'm use to trading 2. Wide spread, couldn't use my hard stop 3. Got FOMO because it was going parabolic in premarket 4. Used way too much size getting into the stock 5. No pattern (I just assumed it was going to go up. When I reviewed the video of my trade, it became crystal clear how much of a dumb ass I was for taking it. I didn't have integrity for sure. All I wanted to see was green, yet in a blink of an eye all I had to show for it was red. Again, much thanks for creating this video, it was sorely needed in the trading community

My story this week... have been trading casually on and off for 3 years or so, but after finding your channel and writing down a trading plan, I made small but consistent gains over the period of a week, I was super excited about it. A few days ago I wasn't in the best mood, but I decided to buy some calls for S&P500 because I was 110% sure it would go up. A few hours later and I lost a couple hundred dollars by being a fool. Taking a break now and re-evaluating. Thanks for speaking the pure truth on this channel, and I hope people can see my mistake so they don't make it themselves. Stick to the risk management strategy, gambling isn't worth it.
@mikkolaine234 жыл бұрын
I just made the same mistake on the past 2 days. I was feeling super low and felt like my trading is probably never gonna work out.. So I took a few hail mary trades that failed and I lost the gains I had made during the past 2 months..sucks after being super consistent for 2 months in a row. Depression is the enemy of succesful trading.

I consider myself a person of integrity and today I discovered what I think I already knew. With regards to trading, I am most certaintly not the person I hold myself out to be. Thank you for this video. There is a saying that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. I saved this video to watch later a day or so ago and just around to watching it. Today I was ready to hear the message. Many times I have told my self to never go break even on a trade. Back testing never reveals a break even trade and so I have always discounted the break even. However, I get taken out a LOT at breakeven only to see my trade work just as planned. This applies to other areas of my trading plan which I do have but rarely follow as I should. Tonight, I create a check list just like a pilot, I will attach the check list to the chart print out for each trade and keep a monthly score card like the one you showed in the video and see where I end up in 30 days. Thank you for the video. I am beyond frustrated with myself for my trading habits and this is exactly what I needed to hear today.
@ElPandaWarrior4 жыл бұрын
Day 1 of using a checklist. Trade set up check list followed exactly. Trade management checklist followed 50%. Trade result. Full profit target achieved. 30 ticks on crude oil futures. Stress free (mostly that is, otherwise 50% would have been 100%) But overall....Sooooooo much better.

Wow I really needed to hear this more than I thought. After coming off my best month so far (trading with a plan that is), I decided to double my risk from $20/trade to 40. Within a few weeks in April I had lost all profits and my equity curve was basically back to zero, from that point I was so furious with myself and abandoned my plan, started throwing darts and only trading AAPL and ZM, not looking for gaps and the losses have only continued. I forced myself back to $10 risk this month and after watching this I printed out my plan, put it on a damn clipboard and am going to FOLLOW it! Honestly, it's hard to stay motivated when risking such a small amount, I'm not looking for "action" or excitement but the trade is definitely less meaningful, I have to drive that thought out of my head. Thanks for the reset, I'm sure I'll be re-watching this one down the road..

Had I not followed my plan and bailed out when I said to myself “I just made $200 in nine minutes” instead of following my plan waiting for the $375, I’d have been golden. Evidently I suck at choosing targets. I was looking at $25 below resistance.

Hi Jerry, new fans from Malaysia. I learn a lot from your lecture also I found my mistake on trading no matters in stocks, commodities, or crypto markets initially was set cut loss on 5% but end up with 10-20% lost. Yes, I did not follow according to the plan when is in the wrong direction. I always back to the starting point. Mistake made: 1) I can do it 10% per day per trade for 7 days profit, I can lose it at 1 single trade because I compound at the last trade, therefore, burn my previous profit. solution: I should fix the amount as you show in the slide. 2) I keep changing on my trading method, starting with the buy in the right position and sell at the target like 3-5%, 5-7%, or 10-15% but It took days. then I change to daily trade but I not learning pattern, pure support resistance, ema cross, BB, MACD, and RSI. solution: I have to learn the pattern and understand more about the fundamentals. 3) I should get sticky notes to remind and always follow the rules. the small quiz at the 2nd last part of the slide, I got 3 YES, and I believe I can learn more from you. Again Thank you I will practice it.

I don’t know how dude lost that much but on my TradeStation account I leveraged 1500 shares of Boeing at 114.23 and rode the retracement all the way up to 121. I also ended up shorting it on the way down. BA became a swing trade stock for me. Hence that’s why I opened up another account to day trade. I’m new too the intraday scene but because of your videos I been pretty good with money management so far..... hopefully I can say that by the end of the year. You can skip the first 22 mins if you are an intermediate trader. The rest is pure Gold. Integrity does not come easily you will have to practice that in real life as well(wherever possible) . You planned to go out and do something important tommorow morning and out of sheer laziness you don't and you do that all the time ,you train your mind to disobey yourself when you trade you will disobey your plan at the slightest discomfort.

I’m only here after destroying 50% of my networth. But of course, it’s not that I’m terrible, the worst market in decades also played a role. Thanks 2022, I-will-never-forget.

Jared i like your bluntness and honesty. i had been follow some high pressure outfit. i had spent thousands dollars on subscriptions of their secrets formula. so far i had lost few thousands dollars from their advises. so tell your viewers be cautious to anyone who sends you more than 3 emails a day and promise you 100% return guaranteed

Jared, your videos have helped so much in understanding the why, I have shared it with all my friends! thank you. Would love to see a video on core trading strategy, as it can get confusing when the price is fluctuating in the short term, I know you have talked about it briefly but doing it as a topic would be great. My humble request. Thanks again
