I can't express how much I'm enjoying your videos. I already know a lot of all you say...but! I am LEARNING A LOT MORE. I'm learning things that I miss...great quality stuff. If I had not thousands of trades in my rearview mirror, I couldn't get the information in such an intense way, with awareness coming from direct experiences. Such solid concepts in such an organized and accurate exposition...man, you're truly a gift from the universe. This is the most power setup I have been used for many months ..good to see that u too have a setup similar..I dont use moving average but infact once the recent pivot high is breached I wait for a pull back and then enter when I a see a convincing green bar

This is a great reminder to slow down a bit and think before acting on a trade. This kind of trading aligns with how I operate and the type of trader I would like to be. My focus will be on 60 min, daily or weekly charts with low dollar trades/risk before jumping into a 2 or 5 min trades.

Thanks. Management is a personal thing. It depends what style you prefer. The key is to be CONSISTENT. Too many traders change their plan/management every other month and then are always chasing their tail.

Thanks for the lectures Jared. I see alot of articles stating only 1% to 5% of day traders actually make a living by Day Trading. Do you think those numbers are accurate?

I'll say two things...I think the number of people who fail due to giving up is A LOT higher than the number of people who fail due to losing a ton of money or blowing up their account. Those stats are over inflated. In terms of the percentage of people who do it 'solely' for a living, yeah, I'd say the numbers are lower than 10%...but that's just a guess....I knew a guy who was making $60k a year trading...he went back to his old job at AMZN because it paid more than double...so he succeeded but still quit...so there are lots of different stories. One thing holds true though...this business is HARD.

I have a friend that says, when offered something that he likes, (BEST S#$T ever), Jered, this has got to be (your best video ever), I have a day/night shift job to where I work 12 hour shifts four days on, five days off, five nights on five nights off ect. On my weekend days off I listen to your videos nearly all day and part of the night and then some. When I'm trading during the week, l fill like David Caradean in the old series Kong-Fu, where I'm looking at my chart and anticipating trade, then I have a flashback of one of your videos. Most my trades are swing trades, some are day trade scalpers. I do have some long term investment trades that I sale covered calls on. All of my winning trades work out for profit for me, when fellow your examples. You are a friend I have never met face to face. I'm getting close to retirement. People ask me why I don't quit and go full time as a trader. I work in a copper mine. If everybody was a fuu time trader, who would supply the world with copper. How could anybody even get on line without copper? There are thousands of other industries to give us all the ability to live. What you bring to the table, gives me the difference between getting my hourly wage & getting what I'm worth. Thanh again for such a straightforward bunch of videos.

This was awesome Jared! Where do you find a video so well spoken and explained like this one? No where! Really learned a lot from last two lectures. 50:54 min - I feel exact the same as he does with a 5-10$ loss LOL. Still noob and only trade very low volume 0 -10 shares pr./trade until I'm getting stable results and better. Yeah bring on wealth building lectures. I'm very interesting to hear more of that.

Timeframes and candles, lower timeframes are building blocks for greater timeframes and respective candles they produce which means at the end of day the “patterns” people trade can be boiled down to one single candle, yes or no?

If you go high enough I suppose...there are a lot of micro movements inside of a 1 year candlestick bar. In 'theory' you could say it's all inside ONE bar...but within that bar there are many cycles and stages...

Live Traders yes indeed, a lot of the big moves happen when a certain time frame births a new candle, “to make a new high” is a common term which is very relevant to this concept I would assume

Awesome video! I have a question. Say for example i was going short with 100 shares, and the stock was making a parabolic move, and I was confident of where the reversal point was. Could you cover the short with 200 shares at the reversal point and automatically flip long with the remaining 100 shares all with the same buy order?
