If that thing about him killing 1,000 jedi was true there is no way that would go unnoticed by the jedi and republic they would have investigated that and likely would have discovered the sith empire before the attack on korriban. So that is like you said a myth.

That quote always stuck with me because it's what I was expecting in SWTOR instead of Galactic Empire 1.0 that we got. I was expecting multiple Sith lords who were capable of causing supernovas through the Force or levitating hundreds of lightsabers at once in combat (like a better version of Kreia's ability) or the ability to drain multiple planets at once through the Force and beings that were similar to Darth Nihilius, pure dark-side beings who didn't even have physical bodies.

For anyone wondering who would win against Tulak Hord in a lightsaber fight, the answer is no one. Revan, Kun, Palpatine, Vader, they couldnt beat him in one on one saber combat. He lived for 200 years and didnt lose a fight even once. Dooku was a master of form 2 and Hord would demolish him in seconds. When it came to raw combat, he was simply on a whole other level, not seen before or after him.

I don't know. I like how Tulak Hord didn't die in combat but rather at the hands of a coward who was too scared to fight him as it kept his reputation as the best lightsaber dualist intact. But I also revealed the sith way as Ozymandias, despite being trained by Hord, failed to become the new dark lord of the sith because he was weak. It is sort of meant to resemble the Sith Inquisitor story line in SWTOR. You are always fighting people who have more training but through your sheer will you kill a Darth when you are an apprentice and a member of the Dark Concil when you are only a sith lord.

The issue with tulak hord is that all he has is accolades, and legends praising him as being "the greatest" and this insurmountable mountain, with nothing to really back it up. Nothing of any tangible substance. its possible that he was the greatest of his era, the way revan, exar kun, and Obi wan were considered being some of the greatest for thier respective eras.

I thought it was like confirmed that he lived a thousand years after the original dark lord, so around 6,000BBY like you said. And the Jedi were unaware of the Sith Empire at that point solely because they didn’t let any SURVIVE. He personally broke 2 Jedi sieges, at Yn & Chabosh. And killed them all.

I'm all for the extended legend stuff don't get me wrong but I've always been a little curious what makes something official Cannon in the Legends universe and not just fanfiction? Like couldn't anybody write something in the same vein of Star wars and now it's a legend. Because as much reverence as the Star wars universe is given end of the day it's just a really cool story it's not like it's history. PS: I am ready for the super fan hate.

All those comic books, novels and video games were authorized by George Lucas himself and they also had the labels " Lucas Books " and " Lucas Arts " on them. George himself had even worked on EU projects such as Dark Empire and the Force Unleashed video games.

@@yungpo9853 its horrible, but kallig got the last laugh when nox discovered all of tulak's secrets and artifacts he worked so hard for. kallig's line was indeed restored to greatness in the end. i wish we got to see more of him though.
