I wouldn't have any hopes, but I think that would be amazing! It saddens me that even in the most cameo heavy game from SNK, KOF 2002 UM, I don't recall seeing any cameo from Last Blade characters. Just Kaede as a striker in KOF 2000.

Honestly unlike Capcom, SNK takes chances on their smaller titles. Look at Garou City of Wolves and SamSho 2017. Being a smaller company they might listen to you so comment on their tweets. A while back when KOF15 released I had a few minor gripes with the game. Specifically critiquing the block effects, the game used blue spheres when an attack was blocked. I remember sending them a message to them to change that. And now CotW uses circular Shockwave effects on blockstrings similar to SFV. I don't know if they did that because of my message but overall CotW is a fan love letter. So if you're willing to pay for it, let them know on their contact page.

@@luckymanx2978 Complaint about XV's effects were common in general. About TLB they've already expressed that they've unfortunately have no plans of bringing it back...well as a fighting game at least.

I can barely believe that people are actually still playing and talking about The Last Blade 2! It makes me so happy! I used to play it in the arcade as a teenager. I didn't have money, but I saved the bus fare money by walking forty minutes to get to school, so I could play two or three coins a week. By the way, Much Respect, and Please Come to Bazil. Just not by bus (unless you're also south american)

My uncle was a big fan of fighting games back in the arcade days and one day he showed me this game. I thought it was so unique and pretty looking, I was instantly hooked. Came back to it a few years later and now here I am making video essays on it for fun lmao

You seem like a pretty solid source for this game in general so I'd like to ask you something. Where would Mushashi be tier wise if people were playing the NGCD or Dreamcast versions of this game? I've never been that good at this game and I never had or seen any real opportunity to play the ports with people.

Musashi's kinda weird because from my testing his jabs are generally pretty awful in Power, he's lacking a ton of links, and he's got a couple moves that are copy-pasted. In Speed & EX I think he could be okay, probably somewhere between Hibiki and Setsuna's placements, so mid B to mid C-ish. What makes it extra hard to figure out his strength is the weird interactions he has specifically since he's unfinished from what I can tell, so he can do stuff like teching out of moves that are supposed to be untechable, and because of the extra combos and jank caused by the different framerate in the dreamcast version so it's pretty up in the air.

Oh, I love Morya. But I just never mastered him. I played well with Kaede, but always liked Hibiki and Kojiroh more. I don't know, I just like playing with ladies, I guess.
