Hello, just came across this video as an ad and in a once in a lifetime moment, clicked. I am pleasantly surprised at the production quality of this video for how little subscribers you have. I have a 2010 e92 328i myself so it is good to hear that such a similar car is so reliable. Thanks for the great video

Thank you for the compliments, they are greatly appreciated. I only have one gopro so it took forever to shoot this video 😁 As far as E92's go I don't know if they are all this reliable but this one had me surprised. I can't believe it's still running with all the neglect.

bro you have nothing to worry about those 328is are invincible. You don't have any turbos so you have nothing to worry about. the only concern you may have is the water pump breaking but otherwise you're chillin those straight 6 naturally aspirated cars are bulletproof.

BABAK Good to hear, that’s what I was thinking too. Yeah I have heard about the water pump but luckily it’s not too catastrophic of a failure point. It’s definitely an awesome car and I hope to have it around for another 10-15 years because it only has 45k miles

Ive had my 2001 BMW 330i E46 for the past 10 years with 171K and have done nothing other than change oil and add coolant (yes, I have a steady leak too) and this thing is a monster! love BMW straight 6 motor.... amazing

I'll second this: 2004 330CI, 186k. It has had some work done to replace worn parts but it still has its original engine and 5L40E transmission, both still work fine. Honestly just regular fluid changes and Not Overheating The Engine, EVER....will keep a BMW going for quite a while.

@@BigBeanz_ I just turned 183k and did a Mobil1 oil change + filter. I did an abbreviated engine flush just before and then added some oil additive from Lucas. Also refreshed the wishbone bumpers to hard plastic jobs. Also a K&N air filter which seems to help with gas mileage which just cam in around 32mpg! I love the e46!!

Bought a 2010 E90 for my kid to drive to college. It had so many issues, he went and bought a 1992 Camry instead (now that’s reliability). From 60k to 90k miles I had to replace the BMW’s water pump, ignition coils twice, footwell ECU module, oil filter components and battery. I drive with a smile when the check engine light isn’t on.

I’ve owned 5 BMW’s through out my life. A 2000 323ci, a 2004 BMW 325ci, a 2006 325i E90, a F30 2016 328i and now a 2012 E92 328i M Sport. I never bought any of these cars for their reliability and anyone who tells you BMW’s are reliable is delusional. I bought these cars because of the style. And mind you, I’ve always done preventative maintenance and know my way around a car. The simple fact is they are just expensive cars to own. My Mazda CX-5 I bought new in 2013....it has 105k on the odom and it has never had a SINGLE issue outside of routine maintenance. There is no competition when it comes to relatability and longevity. But you can guarantee a BMW to break on you. I love these cars, but the truth is the truth.

Goodfellas Garage isn’t that a function of the German biodegradable laws? I think unreliable might be a little too harsh and unjust across the board (look at the M54) but rather I’d say these are higher maintenance with shorter service intervals. My Z3 is a champ. And I didnt even drive it more than 10k miles per year. The car overheats often even when not pushed and I had changed the radiator twice in 10k miles. I basicall gave this car back to BMW for 14k less than I paid not even 2 years after buying it ( paid 19k got 5k back). This video is total crap. I agree, the engine is a nice unit and with FBO you can pretty much walk 90% of cars on the street. However the rest of the car is questionable.

@@BMWROYAL I never said in my video that n54 was the most reliable engine in the world. That particular e92 was the most reliable BMW that I have ever seen. That is a subjective opinion. That opinion is based on the fact that the car never broke down and never left the order stranded in its entire 10-year history unlike many other BMW's out there.

@@BMWROYAL I am not making stuff up, look at your posts above man. I am no authority on BMW's but I did own a few in the past and they were pretty unreliable. I am really surprised that this car is still running with no maintenance which I think is pretty cool given BMW's reliability track record.

@@Rabbit.b58 I welcome criticism but there was nothing constructive about what that guy was saying. He either did not watch the whole video or did not understand what the video stands for. I know and everyone on this planet knows that BMW's are unreliable. However, the E92 in the video seems to be the exception to the rule, an anomoly if you will. I agree with you that most people beat the crap out of them because they are fun cars. This owner is a slow driver so the car seems to have lasted longer.

E92's are junk. Ask my brother in law...In the garage every 2 months. Its a trumpd up Jetta with a BMW badge. Pedestrian styling, boring performance, blah blah blah. E46 BMW's destroy these things. Why do you think the E46 M3 had a V8 in it? Yes no turbo, no crap, normal aspiration muscle power.
