ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS & ADDITIONAL INFO:
Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Easy folks! I trust you’ve all had a fantastic week and thanks as always for tuning in for another episode. Tonight, by popular request, I’m eating a boat load of Canada’s favourite donut hole; the humble timbit! Seems like the perfect way to warm up for the Canada mini-series, which begins this Thursday at 7pm UK time and should keep you entertained for the majority of October. Hope to see you then, have a great week and remember…’til then, stay insatiable :)

When I was living in Canada I used to drop in at the local Tim Hortons before collecting my late wife from work. A lot of Horton's were 24 /7, but mine closed at about 9 so when I went in for my hot chocolate (best I've ever had) and a box of Timbits to go I would regularly be given all the ones that were left as the manager 'liked my accent'. THey also would have just been thrown out.

So the dense ones with sprinkles are a cake donut glazed with icing and sprinkles added. It is made the same as a regular cake. The filled ones and airy ones are yeast donuts. The yeast allows them to get air in them and become fluffier and lighter and easier to fill. I personally love cake donuts but most people complain they are dryer because of how dense they are.

I've had coffee and Timbits at Tim Horton's years ago. I had to drive up into Canada, specifically British Columbia, in order to find a Tim Horton's. The coffee was hot and caffeinated, and the Timbits were what we call "donut holes" due to their appearing to be the missing part of a regular donut. The scenery was spectacular, and the people were, as always, wonderful folks. Timbits and coffee will keep you warm from the inside on those freezing winter days. Timbits are energy units used in northern survival there, but no one can live on Timbits alone, so I was told by a guy sitting in the next booth. You have to get your vitamins, too, he said. Since he appeared to be free of scurvy, I couldn't disagree. How can one not love the Canadians?

As a Canadian I applaud you. Well done. A few if the cake style are very very dense yes, but if you have been around TimBits for a tine. You figure out what fkavours have what purpose. I use the dense cake ones for filler. Like a road trip breakfast. If you're yearning for a Red Bull? The jelly and light fluffy sugary ones will work with a large double double coffee. Treat them like trail mix. A fast boost of energy and a full stomach. Great for industrial workers. Always a line at Tim's drive thru between 5-9 am.

Just some more info on Timbits. The dense ones are the cake donuts. Comes in many flavors like glaze, chocolate glaze, sour cream glaze (my favorite), birthday cake (the ones with sprinkles), and old fashion plain (why does this exist?). The airy ones are your regular donuts which comes in flavors like honey dip, honey cruller, and jelly filled. The custard filled is one we definitely don't have in Canada. But long ago, there was a Timbit that had was cream filled and half dipped in chocolate. They looked like mini eclairs or Boston Creams.

I was just telling my mom about you doing the video at Tim's, and she was confused and didn't believe me that they had them in Europe. Boom this video pops up in my subs. Also I use to work at Tim's, I never counted the Timbits when I put them in the box just kept grabbing

As another Canadian, we’re sorry about the shortage. The very first Tim Horton’s donut shop was a regular hangout for my friends and I before COVID. Now we can only do takeout. Good job on demolishing the Timbits.

That's the general name for them. They are still called that in the UK. It's just certain franchises have certain specific marketing names for them. Dunkin Donuts calls their donut holes "Munchkins." Tim Horton's calls them "Timbits." They are still recognized as donut holes pretty much everywhere as the general name though.

All the donuts are made in Ontario, cooked until almost finished then frozen and trucked to stores all over Canada . Once in stores they are microwaved and covered in sugar and put out as fresh baked. Hint donuts are deep fried not baked .

It’s not far away how about a festive jamboree? A food version of the 12 days of Christmas! I think mini pork pies, stuffing balls, pigs in blankets, mince pies, cocktail sausages, roast potatoes, profiteroles, scotch eggs and family size pudding to finish it off.

tim hortons is similar in Canada as far as variety. You pretty much just have to ask for assorted as they are always sold out of everything.

As a Canadian, an avid lover of timmies, I could never eat that many timbits. Unless they were the strawberry filled ones with powdered sugar on the outside haha. Anyways much love man!❤️ happy to see you enjoying some classic timmies 🇨🇦 🍁
