Willingly being ok with a side chick booty call while using her pregnancy as a way to manipulate him to replace his other girl with her is just absolute evil.

@@TheJcris87 You do realise to make a love triangle, each person has to love someone different? Ones a man who likes a woman, another's a woman who likes another man, and the 3rd man needs to like the 1st man otherwise it's *a literal arrow not a triangle* all corners need to be connected. Did you not attend any of your math classes? I'm guessing most definitely not bc you'd know what a triangle looks like. I've never seen anyone post a comment and look dumber than a 3yo, bc fun fact, pigs who get given those toddler shape toys know what shapes are, and they have the iq of a 3 yo. 🤣🤣

We have no idea what is going on in the background there. There could have been abuse, there could have been self esteem issues, his lifestyle/money or a billion other things. But anything we say is pure speculation and doesn't really make a difference. I mean, why was the other woman staying with a guy that cheated on her a million times? This guy must have had some way to get these women to be involved with him and keep them there. At the end of the day, he wasn't a man and couldn't take responsibility for his actions, so he chose to be less than a human being as well and murder his GF. He's gross AF and that other woman is probably counting her lucky stars.

Right?! I think we have to consider the cultural element of gender based violence and the rivalry between the two women as well. This was a train wreck in the making. The victim is not to blame in any way, but the danger had to be at least somewhat present in her awareness. I think she trusted a monster like so many young women do. (🙋🏾‍♀️ I’m guilty present and accounted for so that’s not a judgement because I completely understand why she behaved the way she did) I think she believed that he wasn’t capable of such callous behavior, but the thing that I have learned from lived experience is that if you want to be left alone, you also have to leave the other person alone. I don’t believe she would have allowed him to be the deadbeat he wanted to be in peace. We want justice for our children, that’s reasonable, but we have to accept the ugliness of people when we see it and that’s especially difficult when you’re about to give birth to the ugly person’s offspring. Not making an excuse for what he did, he and others like him deserve to be punished and isolated from the rest of the world for what they’ve done, but I think if he thought she would be a quiet sufferer, he would have left her and the baby to fend for themselves, but knowing that she had no intention of allowing him to live down his behavior and responsibilities, he took the violent way out (which in context is not surprising). So unfortunate and disgusting that people are capable of such psychopathic behavior. It’s a hideous reality that women must take into account when in relationship. 😢RIP to Tshegofatso and her precious unborn baby and I pray justice and wisdom for everyone affected. 🫶🏾

As Voodoochile mentioned you do have to take into consideration the cultural element of GBV and abusers. In many ways the perpetrators of these crimes gain some sense of power, control and satisfaction from the way they treat their victims. I doubt he would have ever walked away. By either him walking away or her walking away he would lose that control and power over her which may have led to the possibility of him escalating due to the anger and frustration that he would have of losing that power and control over her. Yes there might have been a possibility in that scenario as well where he would have left her alone but unfortunately I think that was very unlikely. This was, as Voodoochile said, a train wreck waiting to happen, or as I would put it, a powder keg ready to explode.

@sam johns I'll clarify some things. Not only did I not claim that therapy will prevent all issues of low self-worth, but I also don't believe that to be the case. It can, however, help people in many ways and, in turn, lower the numbers of these violent crimes. That's going to the root of the problem. To point out that most who have low self-worth don't go onto murder is misunderstanding the point. Humans are complex creatures, so all don't react the exact same way to similar circumstances. It's a known fact that not all children who experienced abuse growing up will go on to abuse their own children. But, nearly every parent who abuses their child was abused themself.

I can’t fathom she actually had the nerve to say “I didn’t ask to get pregnant twice” she literally begged for it. Not getting pregnant is easier than going to a store getting a pizza to put in the oven going home then cooking it. I’m sure she assumed she could trap him with a baby or a baby. I feel bad for babies killers. Both kids sadly were better off. Hopefully he’ll get the karma he deserves also

What I will never understand about stories like this is the complete ignoring of the fact that prevention is better than cure never occurs to any of these evil doers, male or female. 😔 If you didn't want a woman other than your fiance pregnant for you because you feel that would ruin your life why were you having intimate time with a woman other than your fiance? Also ladies especially young ladies, children do not get you a husband or keep a husband, the purpose of having children is not to secure the bag either. I am in no way saying this victim was doing any of that but we have to be careful to acknowledge these things as women. Sometimes our situation or affection for someone can make us believe that being with them even though the relationship is toxic is a good choice it is not.

Truly a sad story, but the girl would likely be alive had she cut ties with ole dude after her first pregnancy and abortion. I feel bad for her, but she could have removed herself from the toxic relationship and it likely would have saved her life. The reason I’m bringing this up is due to one of her text messages to him stating she didn’t make the choice to become pregnant by him twice… when in fact you did have a choice and you decided to continue sleeping with him. Everyone’s choices in life have consequences.

@@TawnyC_ he wasn’t the one complaining about not having a choice, they both had a choice but she acted like she didn’t. You missed my point and you probably think I’m blaming the victim, but I’m just saying everyone’s actions have consequences. Considering she lost her life, you can say she had more to lose than him, so the decision to stay with the other person or not was way more important of a decision for her than it would be for the loser boyfriend that had her killed. You need to know when to remove yourself from a toxic relationship. This is coming from someone who has been physically abused in a relationship by a woman before so I know what it’s like to make this tough decision that I think she should have made herself.
@TawnyC_
@TawnyC_ Жыл бұрын
@@SqueaksUofA What difference does it make if she "complained about having a choice"? No one would know that if they didn't read the Whatsapp messages. Who knows if she really meant it? He had the choice to be faithful to his girlfriend. He chose not to. Who knows what he was verbally telling either one of them? Most likely he was lying to his gf that he wasn't seeing Tshego; most likely he was leading Tshego on. Shoba *did* send her money to go to the doctor. He *did* promise to tell his family about the baby. He probably enjoyed being in the middle of a triangle, getting all this attention. It got to the point he did not want to chance things with his rich fiancée who was coming into some money. So Tshego had to go. Yes, you do sound as if you are victim blaming. Now if he had said "if you get pregnant again, I will murder you" and she got pregnant again and chose to stay with him, then yes, her being murdered could considered to be a consequence of that choice. Otherwise NO. She had no idea he would murder her. He sent an Uber to bring her to his place so they could make a list of baby items they needed to buy! I heard nothing about him physically abusing her. Please provide the time stamp.

@CandiiCaine 🍭 seems like she said she was on birth control...when she said "I didn't choose to be pregnant twice". The other scenario of her not choosing to be pregnant was if she would have been raped but seems like she was very much engaged in this relationship of her own free will. He obviously made it clear to her after the first pregnancy, that he did not want to have children with her. He made it clear to her that he did not want to have a serious relationship when he choose to stay with his fiancé instead of her. She knew better, and she was selfish to not think of giving her child a father who would actually be present by choosing to have a baby with a man who is actually available and committing to a life long relationship. Having a baby with an unavailable man is selfish because the pregnancy is used for bargaining and own agenda as opposed to think about what's best for the child, to have a father who wanted to be there and be a father before the baby was ever made.

I can talk from personal experience as a victim of abuse myself that it is never that easy to just walk away from your abuser. I was physically, emotionally and psychologically abused by my father and stepmother for most of my life. And yet I kept running back to them because I was kept away from my biological mother by them. They told me it was because she did not want me and in my mind my reasons for constantly running back to my father and stepmother only to suffer at their hands is because I felt like I had nobody else to turn to. Eventually, after managing to reconnect with my mother and learning that she had tried for all those years that my father and stepmother had told me that she didn't want me that she had constantly tried to reach out to see me but because of my father and stepmother's controlling nature I did not see her or speak to her till I was an adult. Even after that I still ran back to my father and stepmother even after they physically attacked me and I thought my life was in danger. It was only after my father physically assaulted me last month that I finally made the decision to cut him and my stepmother out of my life completely. I am even opening up a case against my father for the assault. But it took most of my childhood and my entire adult life to actually get to that point where I walk away. Its really sad what happened, and she didn't deserve this, but I honestly thought she purposely wanted to baby trap him... That's why she waited to tell him and played victim for being pregnant to get the guy. She even admitted it to the fiance. The guy is a dick for doing this though.

Triangular love affairs almost always never end well. And it is useless to put yourself in harm's way or be killed over or by these selfish and brutal monsters who care only about themselves. History is rife with these stories and their outcomes. And this case is especially heartrending because she was in an advance stage of pregnancy. That is as cold-blooded as it gets.

Ladies, please respect yourselves. Stop putting yourselves in such situations like this. You can walk away very early on before it turns messy and toxic. To stick with a man knowing he has a fiancee is simply stupid and destructive. To become pregnant not once but twice is careless,non caring and selfish. That man is never going to be worthy of your time ,energy and love. What a sad terrible outcome.

Sorry, but I find it really difficult to feel for this woman. I only feel bad for the child who had no fault here. Please, be smarter! Time and again things like this have happened and yet, so many women only attack each other over a freakin' man acting like it's high school!? They even knew about each other! How can you continue to have a relationship with a man like this and choose to give your body to him but also the worst part being, ever heard about protection?? Birth control? It was her second time having to go through this. Isn't one experience enough to keep you away from the guy? Have more self respect please... It's ridiculous how careless and childish people can be. Honestly, an infuriating case, but not for the reasons I imagined... And please don't even bring up religion in it. I have to take issue with, "found herself in the situation". She was a competent, autonomous, adult woman of normal intelligence with agency and free will. She didn't "slip and fall" into being, and accepting being, a side girlfriend. She didn't just "find herself" pregnant, twice, by a man whom she knew to be a player with a different woman as his expressly chosen long-term partner. She was an adult, with agency and free will, who made choices which she obviously felt were worth it to her at the time. She did not ask nor deserve violence, no woman does, but infantilizing her, and other competent autonomous adult women of normal intelligence with agency and free will, is misogynistic in the extreme. Women are not children needing to be protected from the world and their own choices.

@@BigReddSouthernGal25 You are correct, but in this case no one is trying to excuse his choices by denying him agency by saying he "found himself" in that situation. In any event, if you are having sex with someone, and you don't want to have a pregnancy occur, and your partner refuses to take protective measures, it does in fact fall on you, as a competent, autonomous adult of normal intelligence with agency, to either find a different/better partner, or take ownership of that issue for your own protection. There's no one else left to take responsibility, the buck always stops with the individual.
