The mystery of the Skelton Brothers began on Thanksgiving, 2010. The three Skelton brothers were celebrating with their father, John Skelton, and then vanished. John says he gave them to a mysterious underground organisation, and that they're safe. Others aren't so sure...

He drove them out to a remote area, wrapped them in blankets, gave them teddy bears, and then placed them in an underground sanctuary? Sounds like an indirect confession of burying them.

@@MentokTheMindTaker What proof do you have that the mother was sexually assaulting her sons? She had sex with a 14 yr old (not her son) over a decade before. While that is disgusting, it is not proof of sexual abuse of her own children. One thing you will learn if you watch enough true crime, when one parent is afraid they’re going to lose custody of their children, they often accuse the other of sexual abuse of the children. IIRC, it was so common in one state, they passed a law stating if you falsely accuse the other parent of abuse for the purpose of swaying the judge in the custody hearing, you automatically lose custody. Also, you can never trust a killer to tell the truth. I don’t believe for one minute that she was abusing those boys

My mom told me recently that, decades ago, she nearly murder-suicided me and my siblings in the depths of her divorce which caused depression and suicidal thoughts. She never went through with it because she couldn’t bear to see my older siblings fight back. She’s never felt that way since. Anyone who knows her, including her kids (and even her ex-husband!), doesn’t believe for a moment that she would ever consider doing that to us in a million years because she’s an incredibly devoted and loving mom. Hell, she once cried out of guilt for ACCIDENTALLY slamming my brother's hand in the car trunk door...and he wound up being perfectly fine. She’d take a bullet for any of us, but back then she genuinely thought killing us would be better for us because she was so depressed that she couldn't envision a world where we would be happy. Luckily, she hasn’t been depressed or suicidal before or since that divorce. My point is, "love" is sometimes what causes them to act so drastically. Especially if they maybe have had a history of depression or suicidal thoughts (though my mom didn't even have a history of that until then). Maybe not for Chris Watts, but certainly for some parents. Love can take twisted, cruel forms in the mind of a sick person.

sharon brown no no one checked. And if you look into such cases as Victoria Climbie and Baby P, who suffered horrific injuries his entire life and yet MULTIPLE social workers failed to intervene leading to the 18 month old boy dying from being beaten to death. A doctor had seen him a week previously and failed to see multiple fractured ribs, cigarette burns, lacerations and A BROKEN SPINE. So these parents who think they’re big strong people beating on a tiny child, get away with it because so-called professionals think a child is being difficult because they can’t sit still to be examined after sustaining a broken spine at their hands of his “carers”. There are so very very many cases where children have been killed because professionals have failed multiple times to recognise extremely obvious abuse. It’s actually even difficult to believe these failings aren’t purposeful to be honest, because they are so ridiculously obvious. I watched a documentary recently regarding a little girl called Ayla Reynolds who was allowed into the care of her father after she had sustained many injuries which he was suspected of inflicting, the mostly recent of which was a broken arm caused by rotation of the arm. This pig murdered his daughter by beating her to death, blood was found all over his house, in his car, on her car seat etc and there were 3 people in the house the night this toddler disappeared - kidnapped if you believe what he says happened. From a basement room that had no windows. Not one of them would come forward and admit what had happened but the amount of blood and vomit in his home showed the child couldn’t have lived after sustaining such injuries. Then there’s jonbenet Ramsey, who was found dead, strangled with her head bashed in, in her parents basement and yet again money was able to buy the freedom now the parents who were guilty as all hell, of at least covering up the fact that their savage little shitbag of a son killed his sister, if not murdering her themselves. Most people think the ramseys to have been exonerated but this is completely untrue. The grand jury voted to indict them but nothing ever happened. I wonder why? Maybe money can buy innocence? Or at least the illusion of innocence. Which brings me to the most infamous and prolific case of a missing child in history, and if anyone doesn’t know about it, they’ve been living under a rock for 10 years. Madeleine McCanns parents refused to answer something like 48 out of 50 questions when questioned by the Portuguese police, acted very strangely as if they didn’t know their daughter had gone missing by doing things like go jogging the day after, employing the UKs most expensive spin doctor, ahem, I mean PR consultant, raked in about 20million at LEAST from the find Maddy campaign, which was never used to finance finding maddie but was instead used to pay off their mortgage and ensure neither ever had to work since. The maddie fund was falsely believed by most of the public to be a charity but was in fact actually a limited company. As well as having cadaver dogs alert in the holiday apartment and the family car, the father Jerry has been seen on a boozey dinner party anecdote regaining his guests with how his daughter Maddy can do certain things well, then mimics a sucking noise and mimics doing nipple circles. And how about Kate’s disgusting book, wherein she speaks about how she imagines madeleines “perfect little genitals being torn to pieces”. I mean if your child went missing would you be thinking that? Is that a normal response do you think? And who describes their toddler daughter as having “perfect” genitals? I only need to say the words Jeffrey and suicided without needing to say his surname Ep=$tein for you to immediately know who I mean and be reminded of how many little girls suffered immensely both physically and mentally at the hands of this abomination, helped by a woman, who is naturally supposed to love care and nurture children. Obviously then there is “Prince” Andrew... whose BBC interview body language has been broken down by a KZbin body language expert by the name of Van Der Shaik, and it’s not a good sign... And those are just a tiny slice of how, when we look very carefully, or actually, if we literally just scratch the surface, we can see proof that not only is the child protective system rigged to fail, it is actually put in place by the biggest and strongest pedophile ring in order to PROVIDE children to the pedophiles, who rank all the way from trailer trash to “Prince” of England, not to PROTECT them. I am NOT blaming most of the front line workers who try to help children although some of those need to be held accountable too, such as those involved in the cases I’ve mentioned here, but most of them do good work with the resources they have at their disposal which isn’t much. If you see an agency is called “Save the Children” you can be pretty sure that it actually is in existence to do anything but save the children, but instead has been commissioned to fund the trafficking of children for example. As per Hillary Clinton’s involvement in such things. I typed quite a bit here and if you read it hopefully I’ve given you some food for thought. Please look into the cases I’ve mentioned and do some research into how most governments have sexual abuse claims against them, mostly proven and mostly having been conveniently ended by such things as a rather timely suicide here and there or a sympathetic judge. The British government had a huge paedophile ring busted open only for everyone to fall strangely silent and all the files “go missing”. The “Queen” of England has been accused of taking ten children from a Canadian orphanage in the late 1960s. The lead witness was coincidentally killed a few weeks before he was due to testify. Of course, there’s no need to mention how many very famous paedophiles are very good friends with old Queenie - “people” like Sir Jimmy Saville - who was given the KEYS to many homes and hospitals and apparently liked to have relations with corpses. Paedophilia really is systemic, trafficking is the worlds most lucrative industry and the drugs and diamonds industries are almost always to finance the trafficking. It’s great to watch things like this which is a mini bitesize chunk of the kind of things that happen but I IMPLORE you, for the sake of the children, to look into what I’ve said even if you find it far fetched. It’s possible to prove these things with documentary evidence so there’s no excuse for ignorance. They distract us constantly with meaningless drivel, and have us divided almost completely at every angle - white/black, conservative/liberal, and now been the most natural union of male/female is being destroyed with feminism. The children deserve us to be enlightened not ignorant and we can’t be enlightened if we’re distracted or ignorant. If we can expose every little deed done in darkness, the world will be a far better place. God bless.

I thought the same thing. They are in their mid to late teens now...surely old enough to try to get in touch with their mother. Of course, if the father's story is true, we don't know what he may have said to the boys. He may very well have said something to turn them against her, like telling them that she didn't love or want them anymore and was sending them away. All of this is pointless speculation, however. Sadly, I think we all feel in our hearts that those boys are dead.

No young person would carry on through their 20’s without at least publicly coming out and saying “My name is x, and I’m safe and well.” They would be old enough to refuse to see their parents if they didn’t want to re-establish contact, but I can’t imagine at least not wanting to get that weight of the past off your shoulders at the minimum.

This is such a strange case. It's hard to even start to get to grips with, because it's unclear why both parents (seemingly) had lost custody of their children from their first marriages. Tanya was also, if my math is correct, in her thirties when she was convicted of the sex crime involving the fourteen year old. That's not some vague Romeo and Juliet stuff, that's deliberate and predatory. That doesn't mean she'll assault any 14 year old she sees, but it also is hard (as it should be) to wave away as a youthful misjudgement. John doesn't come across as believable, and he does come across as desperate. It's hard to even speculate whether one of the sons confided abuse that he acted on in the only way he believed he could (the courts having been unsympathetic to his parental abduction trump card in the past). Did he, fearing that he would lose them to Tanya and that he would fail to protect them, kill them? I find it hard to come up with a guess at all. Was he using Tanya's criminal past as an excuse for his behavior? Why did he opt to have three children with a registered sex offender? I have so many questions.

Secondly the fact that a woman from the underground sanctuary was supposedly amish but he met her online. Amish people don't use computers. Thirdly he also claimed that guy from the reality tv show about helping amish people escape the religion was the one who was supposed to help him get his kids back but the guy had no idea what he was talking about. Fourth thing that makes it obvious he said he told the interviewer he can't provide evidence the boys are alive until he gets out of prison but somehow he can provide the evidence to the FBI and his lawyer. Lastly if he was worried about his kids and how they were supposedly getting sexually abused by their mom he wouldn't have risked handing them off to strangers that might sexually abuse them too

14:00 Medical correction; soft casts and splints can be used on bone breaks for a period of up to 4 weeks (usually less than two) before a hard cast is applied. Also if John sustained a fracture, he might've called it a break. It is a mistake many people make because they believe "fractured" is synonymous with "broken". So a soft cast isn't necessarily wrong for a fracture (break). Anyone with ceramics in the house knows you can have a fracture line in a vase or coffee cup without it being broken.

do you feel that the narcissist (male) is all in the same mindsets. it's like they were created from a petri dish. What did they do with all those test tube babies!? 😕 I'm aware that the neglect (and tragic abuse) of a child will stunt maturity. the lack of emotions are from never being interactive with human encounters. in conclusion, all they have is ego to guide them. that's their adrenalin high and they can't think of consequence of their actions. this is personal perspective, I hold no credentials. Thank you for sharing!

@@donnariddle5384 I don't really see why you added that "(male)" part, which implies thar female narcissists are more diverse in your view. Is that a correct assesment on my part, and if so, what makes you think so? I'd be glad to find out, because I never really noticed anything like this. I mean, all narcissistic behaviors to me come off as... idk how to put it, "emotionally flat"? "Emotionally 2D"? not sure if you get what I mean by that, but they *all* - male and female - basically follow the same, simple, black and white narrative: "Me, a gift to this wretched existence, a living miracle, tragically underappreciated, oppressed by everyone around me, victimized by the unfairness of existence more than anyone else, for reasons only I can understand, constantly punished precisely for being so great, finally turns on a revenge arch which is TOTALLY JUSTIFIED because it's MY revenge arch AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL." - that's the story that appeals to them - HOWEVER - not neccessarily a story they will always carry out in an evil way. Narcissists aren't inherently evil, they're just self-absorbed to a level that's absurd and nearly incomprehensible to anyone that has zero or very low propensity for utilizing narcissistic mindset. Some narcissistic mindset-stemming behaviors, if integrated properly, can even lead to good results, for the individual and for their social environment. But that has to be, again, PROPERLY INTEGRATED within a functional psychological framework. It takes a really kind-hearted and genuinely smart narcissist, who's on top of it not really that turbo-narcissistic, to achieve that kind of functional framework. Which, as all really good things in life, doesn't happen that often :V

We turned him into a pet and when my dad mentioned it was time to butcher him we all started crying and begging for him to spare Grunt-Grunt's life. He finally gave in and instead of butchering Grunt-Grunt he sent him to that farm also. I hate to admit how old I was before I finally figured that one out. @@SpockLover27 clearly with no training in pathology I would expect such a reply. For those of us who are far more educated in these fields, the chance of dating those bones correctly has some possible errors. If we excepted every statement as the truth and not dig deeper... nothing would get solved. So 1 medical examination leads to over 99 years old. There is so much more than needs to be done with these bones to get an absolute resolution on their age.
@dianac2498

Beth Dial The initial report stated they were modern bones, but then Texas said they were old bones. The first inspection was done locally at the University (in the same town about 2 miles from this house), so how could two different experts come to two different conclusions about something as routine as the age of the bones in question? I know where the house is where these bones were found. I can’t see how they would have been sitting there for too long without being noticed since this house appears to have had different occupants throughout the years. Something is off about the bones. Mostly because both experts are truly good at what they do so should not come to such different conclusions.

@@kimberlybridges8591 this should have been documented. Every time he had a break. Every time your kid got scared of him. The USA is big on mother's having custody anyway...so I don't see this as a hard case to win. Why didn't you take him to court and demand supervised visits at all times? And NOT with a family member of his, but a court ordered therapist? Not blaming you honey, we all try to do what's best for our children, including having a relationship with both parents, but it would've saved you both a lot of stress and heartache. I know the legal system is now leaning towards dad's more, but if he had psychotic breaks...idk why they wouldn't immediately do this to begin with. Just trying to understand the logic behind him taking off with a kid he probably couldn't care for, just to scar him probably for life. I wish him the best. He had a tough mother, obviously. ❤️
