What narcissists don't seem to understand is that, discarding people who actually care about you is not winning in life. I met someone last year who I genuinely cared about, and one day she just disappeared. It takes a lot for me to block someone because I try to give people a chance to correct what they did wrong. I waited on a response from her and it never came. My advice for everyone is not put your life on hold for anyone who takes you for granted.

If they leave and don't contact you, consider it a WIN! If they had the audacity to leave you high and dry, while you were SO committed, ONLY for them to not care. Just throw the same energy right back! Yes, easier said then done! You can do it! You just got to pray, trust Jesus, and know that it was never gonna work out w/ the ex narc! It is a hard pill to swallow, but that is the truth. Move on w/ your life and never look back! ❤

The narcissist's disappearance is a calculated vanishing act, leaving behind a void as if your existence was a mere illusion. Their ability to erase your presence reflects their lack of genuine connection and empathy. Accepting this abrupt departure is crucial for reclaiming your own sense of identity and rebuilding beyond the shadows of the narcissist's ephemeral presence.

Yes. My ex was texting and talking to another woman so I left after 17 years. He was in a relationship with her, but came back 6 months later and lied about it. I called him out and haven’t heard from him in a year and a half. One of my biggest supporters was his adult son’s mom who was his high school girlfriend. Just heard today that he cheated on the woman he left me for with his son’s mom! She moved him and his daughter in 3 months ago. Crazy!!!!

Said all the good things, then I found out about the marriage/divorce and I started checking on things… we fought and broke up… two months later she moved to Wyoming for another total stranger and is now married for the second time in less than a year..(5th marriage).. this is not even including any of the bullshit lies from when we were together before the Oklahoma marriage…. Yeah well, I called her out, for pushing me away, and I said, if she'd pushed away those she loved, no wonder she was alone. She replied with it was toxic and didn't need a failed toxic friendship. A week later I needed to talk to her, and I got it all thrown back into my face, for reminding her of a situation she'd been in. Instead of being there for me when I needed support , she said, I'd ruined her weekend, and ruined our friendship, and got called an effing nutcase. Alas, I believe, now, she's a narcissist who was projecting onto me her own failings.

I’m so glad you’ve downloaded this specific clip . This in my opinion after 6 years experience is absolutely spot on … I’ve been saying since I finally walked away that non of his irrational insidious behaviour, which may I add became worse over time , was never personal to me . In the beginning of the relationship I absolutely thought it was as it completely throws you when they randomly walk away and then return , like nothing happened. Then you convince yourself that you have to believe they are so sorry hence why they just want to ignore what they had subjected you too. The whole experience seems so ludicrous, you accept them back. You then have moments where you want to get even and then you want to investigate and find out why they act in such an unorthodox way . Answers you will get over time ,but never from the narcissist. As you unravel the text book characteristics of this person in front of you , who ironically is now actually being nice , you become very confused which then leads to frustration and upset. The cycle continues they become so predictable and so on and so on …. We all have different stories about these unstable characters that cheated , abused, denied and lied . Note those red flags and leave them be , because by you staying you are continuing to feed them , so indirectly you are being cruel , without being aware of this . They are tormented souls, so always remember never let your ego get in the way because what they do or say however abusive , it is NOT personal to you! Be grateful and recognise they are everything that thankfully you are not . Look upon them with pity for truly that’s all you can give the narcissist . From afar of course! Sent from Manchester uk

This is an excellent video. My narcissistic ex-girlfriend has been in jail since August. I have been sending her mail, money and packages. She has never written or called. I visited once but after I refused to bail her out, she stopped allowing me to visit. I helped get her time reduced by devising a strategy I shared with her lawyer and it worked but she responded by telling her lawyer not to share details of her case with me. So now I am done. Fortunately she is locked up so I can move on with some comfort but she undoubtedly has new supply in jail. She will return eventually and act like nothing happened; that's what worries me because she lives one street away from me and it's not really possible for me to move. I'm definitely afraid of getting caught up with her again when she gets released. The fact that she is in jail should tell you what kind of person she is; she takes no accountability even with the law.

Yes it makes things more difficult when it's your family member, it betrays the trust and the understanding of what the family member is supposed to provide are the caregiver. But what I will say is separate them from the label and look at them externally as a human with these traits. If you knew them in a different capacity you would not allow to be treated like this. Try to determine what you will accept and what you wont from this person. This is about detachment and about giving back to yourself (reparenting). Try to join the live stream on Tuesday's 9pm GMT we talk about issues like this and perhaps it can help you move forward 😊
