@PeterSchriemer
@PeterSchriemer 5 жыл бұрын
Hey Zachariah! I have to say that I've not held one yet or spotted one either. Probably because I haven't spent enough time in the Great Plains! Haha I have seen many of the midwest species around the Great Lakes, however. Where do you love to go Tiger Beetle hunting?

@@zachariahmagallan5738 That's awesome! I love the 6 spotted - though sometimes it's harder to find along wooded paths than the sand dwelling species in my video.

Nature of God? One word: Evolution.
@PeterSchriemer
@PeterSchriemer 3 жыл бұрын
I know you’re just fishing and you’re entitled to your opinion, but there is so much unpack in a creation vs evolution discussion. Animals do show micro evolution within each of their kinds (this is documented, observed, and proven - like Darwin’s finches), but no animal has the ability to leap from one animal kind to another animal kind (this has not been documented, observed, or proven). Real science takes an honest look at the evidence or lack thereof.

Is there a particular reason why you name this the nature of God? I think it's pretty cool! I assume you are a creationist?
@PeterSchriemer
@PeterSchriemer 5 жыл бұрын
Yes, the name does reference that this particular series is faith-based. I've produced nature programs in both the secular and Christian markets. In my secular nature programs, I don't talk about my faith or the creation vs evolution discussion - but in The Nature of God, I clearly share my beliefs as a Christian and a creationist.

It is always best to ask permission before using other people's photos in your videos. It is a decent video though.
@PeterSchriemer
@PeterSchriemer 6 жыл бұрын
Matthew - I agree. Any photos I was involved in acquiring, I made sure permission was given. I always do that, because I want people to get the credit they deserve. Are you suggesting that an image was used without permission by the production company (ColdWater Media) who was in charge of the production?
@mathewbrust398
@mathewbrust398 6 жыл бұрын
I am referring to three of my own photos on the video. I was not asked permission that I remember. Please double check though, as I may have forgotten. However, I did not seen any photo credits.
@PeterSchriemer
@PeterSchriemer 6 жыл бұрын
Hey Matthew! Now that my mind has been thinking on this, I do believe I communicated with you on these photos. The production was in 2010, so it was a while ago. I double checked the credits on the video (this is just a clip) and you are included. I would have been the one to make sure names were included, so I'm sure we interacted on this back then. Sorry for any confusion!
