1946 most muslims voted for Muslim League which became the Creation of Pakistan- Muslim rulership in separate Land, Concept of Dinia was the target. But when the line was created it was just west and east pakistan, so the muslims who thought muslim rulership would not come in north, centre and south of India so had to stay to stay in India. Osmanistan, Bhopal, Junagad and few provinces in UP and south was the idea of Muslim rulership. When muslims stayed in India was the not truth. Sardar Patel in his first year of Independence said "In January 1948, he remonstrates a group of Muslims in Calcutta, saying, "The Muslims who are still in India, many of them helped in the creation of Pakistan. Fine, if they did but then how come in one night, their hearts changed? I do not understand that. They say why their loyalty is being questioned. That is not something for us to answer. We just say that alright you created Pakistan, good for you, we will not interfere. If things go bad then do not call us. Then they say Pakistan and India should become one, I plead them to not say that. That will be a loss for us, let them stay there. Let them create Pakistan." Salman Kurshid has written in his book says he was happy when he saw hindus killing Sikhs in 1984 that is the reality of this man. AIMIM has come from MIM - it's a razzakar party

The general was perhaps amnesic when he said Eid prayers were lead by a Granthi. How can a non-muslim leader a prayer? Check all the debates and video of NDTV where reservations for mulims was mentioned and the reply of the BJP leaders was: It will result in another partition of the country. That means the Sangh in particular and Hindus in general think that strong and prosperous Muslims will never live in an united India. So Prosperity of muslims will not materialize unless Hindus stopped getting fooled by the Sangh Propaganda or they develop a trust on muslims. Till the time well off muslims her has to toe the line of political parties for survival or get hurt in riots both economically and physically - Bhiwandi Muradabad Banaras and Hyderabad are few examples.

But the answer to your question may possibly come from the 1984 Sikh riot when the Sikh bodyguards killed Indira Gandhi to take revenge on the Indian government's decision to launch an operation and storm the SIkh religious place the Golden Temple. So, maybe after the demolition of Babri Masjid which was really unfortunate, a significant population like the Indian Muslim community who has the access to the arms might attack the govenment constitution. After all it was the fault of the government to protect the Babri Masjid and then if some Muslim by mistake takes the law in their hands then it might have created a big riot like what happened after the assisination of Indira Gandhi. This answer is my guess to your question.

Sir, with due respect sikh population is about 2.3% & participation of sikh in armed forces is 12%... So, recruitment of army personnel is purely based on physical and educational quality... For your kind information, from muslim community who are in army, more than 50% are from upper caste muslim prominently Pathan...🙏🙏🙏

All the speakers discussed only the symptoms. One of them even repeated the age old lie that muslims who stayed back in India during and soon after the partition, did it out of choice or love for their motherland. The fundamental issue is never addressed. The issue is about equal opportunities for every single Indian citizen. The constitution has several contradictions that must be removed in order to achieve that. The politicians have exploited those loopholes negatively and today in the name of uplifting certain sections of our society they have in fact divided it. The most unfortunate thing is that the political class is fully aware of it. The constitution of India was drafted at different times and situations. It cannot be considered to be some kind of god sent gospel that cannot be changed with changing time and situations. Today our constitution needs a overhaul that caters to and benefits the citizens. So does the penal code and policing system.
