My Mammaw used to sing this song in her kitchen as she cooked our meals when i was a child. Oh what blessed memories. I'm 64yrs old, but your rendition made me feel as it was only yesterday... Bless Y'all

Wow, Don, Matt's bass vocal is the equivalent of a baritone sax in their vocal blend. He could have sung with The Statler Brothers.

I’m told the bass vocal part was sung by Rick “Will” Lindner. I should have been clearer - Matt played the stand-up bass, but I don’t think it’s actually present on this recording.

Great song. Don are you connected to this piece of music? Unrelated to this video but if you see this comment, I was wondering about Dave's first show post 9/11. It used to be on youtube but I can't find it anymore. Did you ever upload that episode or plan to?

Please read the description. I uploaded the post-9/11 show some years ago, but CBS had YT remove it. A friend likewise uploaded it and CBS struck his down as well. Even though it was no longer CBS’s content. That’s all I can share.
