Great find for a new home, I grew up in French Lick Indiana moved to North Texas after High School and South Central Area Vocational School in Rego Indiana back in 1982.Needed a job real bad that is the only reason I left southern Indiana.

What a great place! How much of that land goes with the house? What I saw looked like an acre + which is a bit more than the yard around the buildings. It sure beats the suburbs! You really scored on those outbuildings! A cleanup, sheetrock, roll on some paint, hang some LEDs, roll in your tool boxes and you're ready to wrench. Congratulations!

Adam, You got the best of both worlds at this point. #1 There is no good way to raise boys in the city. #2 The county and neighbors are not looking out their windows to see what medications you are making inside or outside your buildings. They are using satellites now once or twice a year to see if buildings are being added onto or modified. So, hopefully they will stay out of your business. Well water or City rural, chances are it his hard water. They give you sample bottles to show if you have hard water. Put in a water softener before the water heater but after the lawn irrigation unless you dedicate one frost proof sill faucet for washing cars, trucks, etc., with soft water. The soft water will save spots on show quality paint (If you know someone like that, lol). But it saves faucets, pipes (Unless PEX), bathroom fixture stains, dish soap, hair soap & clothing soap. Check water heater for date on sticker. Install a ball valve and mark it for "Whole House Water" water shut off as gate valves fail easy. Now listen to me, I sound like that uncle! Sorry! But, congratulations on the property and get one of those wall cameras that snaps onto your phone. The one that shows knob & tube wire, pipes, studs, etc. One wrong nail or hole and water or electrical has issues. DK, Omaha.

wow a new place maybe the old place did not have a big yard for your vehicle testing. Also I did get a new waterpump for my project on the 1989 Dodge Dakota V8 swamp and the WP is for a 1969 Plymouth Satellite cause the 1970 did not have the short neck on Rock Auto to put on a 1985 Chrysler 318 that I am using for the Dakota P/U and the new WP is for non A/C and non P/S which I am deleting got the belt drive for a 1970 Duster for it both waterpump and belt are brand (Gates) but I do want to make a quick video on the waterpump from the 1989,1985, and the new 1969 the 85,89 are alumina casting and the 69 is cast iron.
