Another lovely Bow by master Bowmaker, a gem of a person. when we say design means design..not shape, rightly said by Armin👍. The Bow made by Istvan Szimiester is very well balanced and gives a decent speed, sweet draw and leave an Archer with a smiling face😊

Thanks for another great review Senpai Hirmer!!! This bow looks fantastic and appears to be a pleasure to shoot. There are so many good Eurasian bows available, it makes my head spin as to the next one to buy. Ha, ha!! This Hungarian model by Szimeiszter looks really good!

some observation, whatever the shape, small bows (52-60" long) allow comfort and a good precision around 28-35#, after, at 40,45, 50# it's much faster, but at 25, 30, 40 meters, seems difficult to shoot instinctively with high precision for ordinary archers and comfort and precision gives the archer's pleasure !

At this point I’ve been watching Armin on youtube for years, I own many beautiful bows and shoot them all the time. I’m not interested in buying another bow for a while, but this still doesn’t stop me from clicking on these videos. I simply want to see Armin (looking good by the way) and to see how the weather is in Malta, also looking good :)

Wow!!! What a great bow! I LOVE mine! You got some fancy wood selections in this one. Looks like Mahogany on the belly, Birchroot Burl Wood on the back and I think your handle is either Pear or Cherry with Back Walnut accents...looking very high class! The smooth draw of these Magyar style bows from Istvan is dreamlike. Very easy to get on target. Makes you feel like accuracy is second nature! Loved your review, Armin! The three shots you took perfectly demonstrate the capabilities of this bow. ( of course the dude holding the bow is also very capable)👍🏹😉

Hello! I'm quite new to archery but decided to put aside a good amount of dough for a nice horsebow with which I want to learn thumb-draw and discover my draw-length with that technique. Your videos are really a big help with this and my understanding of trad. archery in general. This bow looks like the one (maybe my judgement is clouded by its beautiful simple look); anyways, my one question is where can I buy this awesome bow? I live in Iberia and have looked in my local shops for Szimeister bows but can't find any! Edit: All I had to do was google -_- found his website first thing. Thanks for the review!

I always thought that they should shoot with real bows in the Olympics. There could be different classes for longbows, hungarian, or other style recurve bows etc. This comment has nothing to do with the video - witch was perfect - but I thought I'd share it with you, because you all can appreciate real archery.

It is normal for people to be used to using certain words... Super common for English native speakers to use the word "design" the way you do... I thought I could save you a few annoying comments from more picky people, that is all. I do not care that you say design, I know what you mean, but I do care about you, and I when see you fumbling over what to say because of the crappy comments you get, it made me want to help. Probably most of my comments will come from a place of trying to add something (small sometimes) or helping in some small way. Sometimes I do present a purposefully challenging view or idea about something because it seems the conversation is too one direction or needs major tweaking when everyone seems to be missing something obvious. I am not picky at all about small things but very picky about important things and I love to help if I can. Thanks again for all your helpful videos and let me know if I can ever help you in some way (I live near Chicago, IL, USA, born in Sweden)... I am not wealthy but got some skills (photo, video, music, graphic design, and a few really good friends in different parts of the world).

I have a question for you armin, why do you like a long draw so much? Wouldn't a bow that makes max power between corner of mouth and ear be ideal?

Once I started... hard to go back. Feels natural and as longer the arrow is in contact with the string, the better

Of course not, but performance is just one part of it all. And some bow builders took notice and provide the buyer with more :)
@0ooTheMAXXoo03 жыл бұрын
Same scoring for all the bows... Extra string is always helpful, might be hard to replace depending on where the buyer lives and the specific length of the string. One little card with specs is cheap and easy to include... Armin seems more than fair to the bow makers and it has to be his system for what he looks for in a bow...
