I know from my experience that localization/bug testing for a ten-hour text-heavy RPG is at least 4 weeks, and that's brain-melting crunch. So about 2 months just doing that. We can hope for a Christmas release. There is still a solid five months and they have a lot of people working on it.

Here’s my copium for potential Halloween release. I think the localization will take 2 months. Toby worded it like it wouldn’t be that big of an issue but its still there. I also think that by now or next week chapter 4 will be pretty much complete. I highly doubt the game maker thing will mess with development too much, and neither will the localization because that’s a whole different part of the team. The console port may take 3 months I think because he said it wouldn’t be too hard. Unless I’m forgetting something that puts us- if just barely at a Release Date in October. Though I could also see it releasing around… December holiday?

I agree, while he said release was still far I'm starting to suspect that he's only saying that so that he doesn't make any promises or get anyone hopes up that it'll release "soon".Also toby said in the newsletter that the translation process for chapter 4 would hopefully go smoother than with chapter 2 and 3,In his own words, "I think the characters will be easier to localize than Chapters 2 or 3, so hopefully it will be smooth..."
