Got mine from fully charged last week and I love it 😊 I’m smiling all the time riding it, looking at it, checking my stats with the Bosch flow app. Thanks to Richard for all his help throughout the ordering/sales process! He is very patient and knows his stuff.

Thank you for reaching out, James! Ah that is simply fantastic to hear, we're very glad we could be of support to you. Richard, our very own eBike Guru! We will pass on your message to him. More importantly, we hope you have limitless fun with this 'youthful, busy man about town!'

Hi Jason, thanks so much for the lovely comments. We all try and be the best at what we do here and it's great to see our customers enjoying the bikes. Here's to many years of Tinker2 fun!

I got mine here a year and a half ago, and after 8,000 kilometers, it still rides like new. It's the Tinker, and I'm definitely looking to upgrade to the Tinker 2. My only complaint is the rear rack's weight limit. If you could put a baby seat on it, it would be perfect! They are expensive, but not as expensive as driving a car, and if you also factor in the health benefits, they're worth it.

I have a R&M Tinker here in Sydney, Australia. It’s the best, most fun bike I’ve ever had. Just wonderful really. Yes, it’s a bit expensive but worth every penny. Not sure I’ll upgrade to the Tinker 2, but might do so one day.

Hey Erasmus, great to hear you're enjoying you're Tinker down under! They're a big staff favourite amongst the team at Fully Charged. We couldn't agree more - an substantial initial investment for sure, but one that works out in the long run when the cost savings are worked out. Not to mention the door-to-door service and happiness they bring. The additional 10Nm of torque and Smart System technology make the new Tinker2 make quite a difference to the bike, so whilst we love the OG Tinker, the new one feels even more fun!

I have one and it is certainly 100% smooth and reliable. I don’t actually like the Enviolo hub. In rain it’s difficult to swivel the control and in hilly terrain with many adjustments it’s just a nuisance, sluggish to change and heavy. But in cities I’m sure it’s perfect. I’d have preferred Rohloff but have been told that would need the electronics reprogramming which Bosch would need to do in Germany.

Hey Peter, glad to hear you're enjoying your Tinker on the whole! They're epic little bikes :) The Enviolo hub control should be very easy to swivel, even in the rain or up hilly terrain; we'd recommend bringing the bike into our service centre getting it checked over by on our eBike mechanics if you're having a problem.

Thank you for reaching out, Piotr! That's what you get when you buy Riese & Müller, products that withstand many years of good honest usage. The new Smart System does make this a future-proof upgrade, but so glad that you're 7 years in with one of the German brands' flagship models.

Thanks for reaching out! Realistically you're getting anywhere from 25 - 50 miles of range. Bosch has a great range calculator that you should look into here: www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/range-assistant !

Its a very nice ebike, but at nearly $6,000, or 5,600, it's too much.

Riese & Müller needs to mass produce their bicycles. Every model is prohibitively expensive.
@FullychargedUK
@FullychargedUK Жыл бұрын
Hey Dan, whilst the electric bikes manufactured by Riese & Müller are of a higher price point, this is reflected in the extremely high standard of their bikes. Having visited their factory in Germany, we've seen first hand the care that goes into the components that Riese & Müller choose for their eBikes, as well as the skilled manufacturing process!

@@FullychargedUK We hate cheap stuffs that used to come out of China. But now China also makes good stuffs--look at their EVs. We love high quality stuffs, and the Germans do make the very best stuffs. They just need to scale it up massively big time to drop the prices. There is a market for high quality German e-bikes. It needs to be mass produced. If the Chinese can do it, it should be easy for the highly educated Germans.

Hi Dan. Don't know where you are based but in the UK the Government "Cycle to Work" scheme will save you 40% off the cost price. Also worth considering how much money you will save in the longer run..- it's a bit like investing in double glazing...

Is anybody riding a Tinker 2 that is 6'3 and over? How does it work for you?
@FullychargedUK
@FullychargedUK Ай бұрын
yes there are lots of customers riding this bike of that height. The Riese and Muller HQ is located in an area of Germany called Damstrad. Most of the population around this area are very tall. Sounds strange but all RM bikes come up quite large :)

Can we transport passenger with a baby back seat (e.g. 25kg Childs?). Many thanks
@FullychargedUK
@FullychargedUK Жыл бұрын
Hi Pacôme, thanks for reaching out. The Riese & Müller Tinker2 is an awesome bike for urban living but the rear rack has a weight rating that is too low for carrying a child in a baby seat. If you're looking for an something more suitable, check out the Tern HSD P9 - it's perfect for carrying a young child.

Tinker, taylor, soldier, spy... we love that! You raise a good question though, if 007 was to do an impending eBike shoot-out race, what would he use? The Tinker2 could be right up there if he was in a metropolis of sorts!

Hi William. Thanks for reaching out. In fact, electric bikes can save you a considerable amount of money going forward, and are indeed long term investments. Of course, there's intuitive ways to pay, including the Cycle-to-Work Scheme in the UK, as well as 0.0% financing options available.
