Just a heads up, the update only exists on the UK website. The American website is still downloading the old software version... I'm sure they will get that fixed

In certain ways (no delay, club data, official GSPro integration) yes. In other ways no (use of only one ball, data accuracy/consistency). If I was looking for a budget LM then I’d go for the Square over SkyTrak 👍🏼⛳️

Question: My Square arrives next week... My simulator space is a little narrow and I have to snug up a little bit to the right side of my enclosure so I can't line up and hit down the center... How does that work with the Square? PS: Thank you for all your awesome reviews and videos!

The remote allows you to do the same as your arrow keys. That’s what I used before this update.

Do you have a video that shows how it runs on an iPhone? I just got a net in my basement and was curious how this would run on an iPhone Airplayed onto my TV in the room. Also, as an unrelated side note, I emailed them recently asking about protective cases (I've seen a 3rd party one) and they said their manufacturers are currently working on a protective case that they hope to offer on their website soon.

From what I’ve read is any sunlight overwhelms the cameras. So I would not assume that it will work.

@ Make percent on putts would be tied to your handicap. Obviously lower handicap playerss make more putts so having a straight distance based make rate would not incentivize better players to participate. Golf may only be surpassed by baseball when it comes to available stats so it would be appropriate to reward statistically better players with a better success rate on putting based on their handicap. If 4’ is a gimme for everyone then a lower handicap should be rewarded a 1 putt on 5-9’ putts on a semi regular basis dependent on their handicap instead of the flat 2 putt score. I am sure that GSPro could have access to the kind of data that would produce a reasonable outcome.

@hcpgolf The construction of it is cheap and flimsy. It won't last long, a few knocks and that thing is toast. Mine had flickering camera lights, which turned out to be a poor quality soldering issue. The new LM Joe Lagowski is testing looks way better.
