Auden is legitimately like the chilliest person, like if you really hate people just for being confident then you really haven't met the real asshat's that are in the world.
@joymukherjee2453Ай бұрын
Well it's actually pretty nice to see Auden just not blindly following his dad and his(Devon) training ideology and method only but also keeping and eye on what the other legends and elite level arm wrestlers are doing and preaching to do. That way he will get the best of both the worlds and it's really great for him. Slowly becoming one of my favourites and maybe will top the list and get even more likable than his dad.🙃❤
@SonnyNatalinoАй бұрын
I've been experimenting with the High and Low Cup coming from a High Angle and I actually think it feels more accurate as you can get in a more realistic ready go position and it nails those pressures perfectly. JM Press the exercise is supposed to be Benchpress until 50% of the way down, and then you roll the bar to your Chin/Neck like a skullcrusher, you are doing more of just a Skullcrusher type movement. Which I think is fine but as you go heavier it will limit how much you can lift so just keep that in mind. I also like doing it with my hands fully cupped as you feel the tension on the tendons more and can spring it up easier but that might just be personal preference

The Auden hype is understandable because of who his dad is, and he is definitely good, but we need to stop treating him like a fucking character in a video game. Like the match ups this dude has been getting are just disrespectful to him. We want to see Auden have an actual war with a real puller, who is a good match up.

This is crazy to see, this young man is a cloned version of his father the way he moves the way he speaks and even thinks, the day he fully wakes up to his own self this kid will be a beast. Devon knows it. Good job with the father side Devon. Kudos fr! ❤Wonder if it was the father who wanted this kid to follow in the sport or the kid who saw his father attain the spotlight. Regardless pretty smart move on both of them.

The ultragrip handle is one of the best containment implements out there, IMO. A wrist wrench/ multispinner and the ultragrip are all I think a person needs to develop a very strong, well-rounded hand. I use that handle regularly, and it has contributed to a lot of strength outside of the strap for me despite my small hand. I personally don't use the thumb-under grip on the ultragrip. I tend to lay my fingers flat and get the strap as close to my knuckles as possible, but then again your hand is large so it may not work the same for you. Keep at it. I think it'll grow on you like it did me.

The way you're using the cupping handle is so like how John brzenk used to grip kids when training their pronation. Genius! I couldn't figure it out with the tightness of the strap. I know your hand is bigger than mine but my mistake was probably just treating it like a multi spinner

Abhas Rana would definitely be a great Match, Classic Hook Vs Toproll plus it’ll be good to see a Fellow Indian on the Maps of Kott or East vs West. - Great setup there Auden just a reminder to grease the machine pipes for accuracy and - JM press would be better when you Punch the weight off with a explosive pressure from the bottom end as it helps to put more pressure on tendons as per Toddzilla

Hey Auden can you tell us what you do for side pressure currently? I have been following Uncle Todd and dammmm his training style is great and really effective. The side pressure variations and the attachments he uses for that are absolutely great. But I find it lacking in the back pressure, pronation, rising and overall body hypertrophy department as it only allows frequent training for the main vector that we are using. And general body parts and arms don't get the volume and frequency it requires to grow.

The JM presses are looking pretty decent. When people do them wrong, they end up looking more like skull crushers. With skull crushers, your elbows point more upwords. But wth the JM press, your elbows need to points towards the wall, meaning your upper arms stays parallel to your body, and you try lowering your hands so that your forearms sit parallel on your upper arm, causing maximum elbow flexion.
@GGProduction100Ай бұрын

For your JM press, I like to experiment with pushing up the weight at different elbow angles. I widen my elbows a lot when going up for a few reps, then I'll switch it up and widen it only a bit for a few reps. The narrower you widen your elbows the more you feel it on the inside and the wider you start to feel it more on the outside.

nothing to say about your JM press form, something to note is that toddzilla varies his grip to mimic the several angles during table time. he'd do narrow grip one set, medium grip and finally wide(or the other way around).

9:57 Speaking from my experience, I'd say 30-50 reps with lightweight are the best. It's good for pumping blood into your forearms, and my grip strength improves a lot. Definitely better than 5 sets of 5 reps
@bobswagger9047Ай бұрын

@Joe-mp4nwАй бұрын
For the Jm presses I find the 9 sets of 10, 1 day a week has been the best. That’s what Todd preaches. 3 sets close grip, 3 sets medium grip and 3 sets wide grip, hits all parts of the elbows. You want it to be heavy tho, to where it’s hard to get that 10th rep every time.
@genericname3113Ай бұрын
Form police on skullcrushers: it's not quite form, but time under tension and stretch are very important for hypertrophy. You can get more of both if you instead use a dumbell in each hand because you can go lower if you hold each dumbell parallel with the body rather than perpendicular as you have to with a two-hand bar. Then you can bring your hands down below your ears, possibly even touching your shoulders, depending on how flexible they are. Plus, at least in my own experience, it helps you avoid accidentally engaging other muscles to compensate. Do a 3-4 second eccentric (the part where you're lowering the dumbells), so nice and slow. Pause for 1-2 sec at the bottom. Then do a slightly faster concentric, maybe 1.5-2s to bring the weight back up. 3-6 reps where you fail on the 6th for more strength-oriented training. 8-15 at a lighter weight for more hypertrophy/endurance.
@leeest3103Ай бұрын
You're looking massive my friend!!!
@eliasparker5113Ай бұрын
Form is pretty good on the JM’s, might help you to scoot down the bench more and allow the weight to drop freely over your throat/chin area. Always bugs me if I feel restricted by the bench itself in my range of motion. But you got the wrist curl at the bottom of the movement nicely, hands might benefit from being placed inside of your supports, play around with that, but your elbows stayed high throughout the ROM which is nice! There are videos of JM himself instructing the technique here on KZbin, do a couple searches if you haven’t yet and you’ll get all you need to know! Pretty much look there already! Good wishes on the training bro.
@ElDragowАй бұрын
i have to correct you, high ellbows on JM presses is wrong. those are skull crushers. With JM press, your upper arm needs to stay in lign with your body, which will cause your ellbow to be pointed towards the wall, not the ceiling. This is the reason why skull crushers tend to irritate people's elbows and JM presses don't.
@eliasparker5113Ай бұрын
@@ElDragow not true brother, watch the videos of how to perform the JM press by JM himself here on youtube, he explains specifically to keep the elbows high throughout the movement, and states explicitly that dropping the elbows during JM's is actually a misconception of the move and not how he intended them to be performed for the purpose of strengthening his lockout position in heavy bench pressing. Ive trained JM's in a manner instructed by the videos Im mentioning, and skull crushers as a part of the same routine, and they're very different movements, watch dorian Yates instruction on skulls, Skulls are done above the head, still lying horizontally in a way where the bar will come down and contact near the top of your head, and then be pressed straight back up vertically, bar still beyond the plane of your head, biceps angled near your ears so that the bar stays out above your head and face. hard to explain but if you type in dorian Yates skull crushers youll see what im referring to.
