At 1:19, Zoe mentions that she's NOT single, and Eliot's smile sinks like a stone. This party is NOT going how he envisioned. 2023 minus 2009 is 14, so that's how long Zed seems to have been 18+. Since 18+14 is 32, it seems Zed is actally slightly OLDER than Brian, so there are some obvious lessons Zoe has not learned. Like Brian's friend the Denny's manager, he is keen to leverage his pinhole of a job in order to buy favor with teenage women. However, he works in the alcohol industry so he's basically offering to facilitate underage drinking so he can hit on Zoe's friends. On top of that, Zed is an amateur photographer offering to take pictures of much younger women, so not quite a pedophile but most likely a huge creep. It's really a tough call whether Brian or Zed is actually worse. Brian seems more expensive and less financially independent, while Zed seems marginally more successful but also fairly practiced at creating inappropriate situations with women Zoe's age. Eliot sucks, but he seems less toxic than either of these older men. Not a great guy, as he's parroting female solidarity in a pretty transparent effort to market himself as a more wholesome alternative to Brian. Really, Zoe should be looking for somebody more like his cousin who was raised by their grandparents, but she seems to have a taste for highly aggressive older men. Eliot seems capable of a redemption arc, but probably stands no chance with Zoe in this lifetime. The sooner the poor guy figures out that much, the less he'll suffer for it.
