This short film was so emotionally touching because it holds a strong reality within the story, and that strong reality is LOVE. And here's some insight for those into science fiction...this little science fiction film right here will one day be science fact. The reality may not be as crude looking as it is here in this film, but the circumstances will be very similar...the truth of love will transcend the boundaries and limitations of flesh, thus bringing about a new and deeper and richer definition to the nature of what it is to be truly human.

If we are motivated by love, there is no need for paranoia about the world we are heading into.
@curtchildress71608 жыл бұрын
+valar Some of the most paranoid people in the world are those that are in love with other people. Being in love brings in the touchy subject of "trust" ...and "trust" can often lead to paranoia. But, it is true how love can conquer many things...even paranoia from time to time...why not, right?! ...Also, love in the general sense, love amongst people can have a peaceful effect on people, and even prevent or stop wars and hatred...this I believe and know with all my heart and soul...God allows for such a possibility if we choose it.
@curtchildress71608 жыл бұрын
+Giacomo Cimini You're obviously and insightful and thoughtful man as to how you have the realization that love is a very broad and very deep emotional experience for humanity...and how the experiences of love will become even richer as we progress into a very different future that we cannot even imagine in the here and now.
@curtchildress71608 жыл бұрын

Incredible! This might be closer to the reality than any of reality shows. We lie to ourselves to make life easier, choose to see things differently from what they really are, we try to shield our kids from all the horrors around us - sometimes not noticing how much stronger they are compared to us. The boy should not forget, and the father should not pretend... but the reality hurts them so much that they do.
