An incredibly high quality live performance. No pitch correctors or backing tracks fed into their earpieces; this is the real deal. Almost no group can reach this standard today live. Philadelphia International Records which was Gamble & Huff produced a staggering number of hits. There is a Nederlands TV documentary on them, that is amazing. Few Americans know how great Gamble & Huff were, and how many groups they wrote songs and produced for, O'Jays probably being their best and most successful.

Throughout the 70's & 80's of my youth the O'Jays were a constant family member at all of our summer cook-outs, birthday and holiday parties. Black folks know what I am talking about.

Band was tighter than a nuns behind! Back when white men knew how to play bass and guitar to suit soul music. Don’t see that too much these days…

I believe that the o'jays was the most requested act to perform on soul train and was because of the fact that they were turning out so many great songs that the people wanted to see and hear them in person. O'jays for life.
