I was raised wiccan, and my parents and I never really bought into the whole, casting spells thing and talking to the gods stuff. We went in a more native american approach to spiritualism, revolving around respecting nature and all things natural, thanking the plants and animals for the harvest or after a hunt, a big thing that sticks out to me about being wiccan is the belief that all life is sacred, and that all acts of love are sacred. I also hate it when wiccans call themselves witches, I think it's really cringey, and I try to get away from that by just saying that I'm Pegan. The whole, witch ancestry thing isn't the case either, it's like being born into or converting to christianity. My mother spending several years of her life on a reservation probably influenced how we ended up practicing our religion, but, it's what we believe in regardless (my mother use to be Christian, my father was Christian converted to Buddhism, then to Wicca) Also my real name is Gabriel, not the cringey screen name i picked out when I was like 13 (to lazy to change it)
