Pale skin evolved as a way to stop melanin production, so the body had extra resources to spend elsewhere because it didn't need to protect against the much smaller amounts of sunlight in Europe, and instead needed to be extra permeable to sunlight, so it could get the vitamin D the body needs. Pale skin does not adjust well to the much sunnier areas of the world and so pale skinned people must use artificial methods to protect their skin. Thankfully it's pretty easy to deal with, as are the health issues dark skinned people face when not exposed to optimal levels of sunlight, such as vitamin D deficiency.

4:13 I highly doubt any of you four guys will read this but I can answer that question. The reason we northerners have pale skin is that, as it turns out, dark melanin-full skin is really bad at making vitamin D so when humans traveled up north, where the sunlight is scarce, people with darker skin died out while people with lighter skin survived. Over generations, the skin became lighter and lighter as it became better and better at collecting UV rays to make vitamin D. That is why black people would have very bad time living in forests, while white people would have a very bad time living in the deserts. Dark skin protects from UV rays better, white skin helps create vitamin D much better. When people experience more sunlight, their skin adapts to get darker. When there's little sunlight, their skin adapts to get lighter to create vitamin D better.

On the bodybuilding topic, it isn't about attracting with your body. By that point your hobby/sport matters more to you than what other people outside of the community think. Sure you start to look out of the norm but that's the point to most bodybuilders that compete. Symmetry, size and vascularity become your goals. That being said, bodybuilding is pretty dangerous whether it be through the stress of the diet, the workout or the drugs. Also if you don't have the genetics for it you're gonna feel bad. Body dysmorphia is also gonna feel bad. Honestly even though I'm a fan of bodybuilding, the downsides of it sound horrible.
