I started playing when the game came out and eventually took a break when my friends moved on to newer games. When I came back to play my characters looks had changed. His face was different and there is no way to fix it. GRRR!

To get a solo lobby on PlayStation, just change your MTU on your PlayStation to 576. This won't let anybody join, but you can still play online

So is there a non-PVP version of the game? The two times I tried starting RDO, I had other players destroying and camping me, I couldn’t even get past the first few missions. Pissed me off and I’ve never returned to it.

If you turn on "Defensive" mode in your "online settings" then you can't be killed by others, they can like drag you off your horse and tackle you ect, but unless you attack them back then they can't do anything more then annoy you some. Ignore them and they will usually go away. The only way people can bypass that and actually kill you is with cheats, and at that point just go to the online menu and reload to get to a different lobby to get away from them. Also- when you do certain mission for Trader, Moonshiner ect you are automatically put in "Offensive" playstyle because those are meant to be PVP missions where you protect your wagon from others ect. So make sure to reset your playstyle to "Defensive: after those missions are done.

@@NyxxieQue It seems like you mixed up parley and defensive mode. You actually can be killed in Defensive, but you have to be free-aimed. You can't lasso or tackle a defensive player, but you can pull them of their horse and become a red dot. A defensive player can lasso an offensive player (free aim only), but not tackle. When you parley someone, you can't be killed for 10 min. When that said, players can still mess with you.

@@FreddieBear1 damn is there still no workaround to this other than messing with the game files and risking getting banned? i just started playing this recently since it was on sale and had only heard nothing but bad things with cheaters ruining the online mode so I figured maybe by this point someone would have figured out an easy workaround like in GTA5 to get a solo lobby.

@@musek5048 Solo lobby is easy. Set up a camp near where you wanna do a mission. Do Tier 3 bounty hunter mission or Blood Money mission and you will have a solo lobby. Also the first time you will do a stranger mission with a cut scene, you will be in a solo session as well. If you want to avoid ending up in a regular lobby again, just start another mission as fast as possible. Or capture a train, or go to camp, or set up a waipoint to where you need to travel and start a Posse Race fast (make sure to be two people for that). You don't need to cheat and mess with any files. Just play the game dude.

It be much easier it other high levels players stop killing low level or killing other players without a reason is stupid I have seen other high levels players killing level 4 or 3 without a reason or I just be mining my own business and two or three people come kill me, I mean really I understand it part of the game but I am level 140 but still I get sick and tired of killing the players that kill me without a reason or killing others players without a reason

Just started playing and had a group of 4 people, three men and one girl taunting me and killing me then wait for me to respawn to repeat it several times, all while laughing their 🍑 off. it was so weird and made me extremely uncomfortable and confused considering I was a low level character so there was no gain for them to do so, it ruined my whole gaming experience as I was expecting the community to be mature but I guess coming across degenerates is inevitable in any online game.

I just downloaded it but I have to play it with graphics all on low. So it’s super blocky now… if I turn the details higher it will crash, saying video memory is full. But my laptop has a lot of memory help please
