Hi, I’ve never kept birds before but I’d love to build an aviary. I’d ideally like to keep finches and love the look of these. I’d like a mixed aviary, but what would you recommend? Any advice would be great.

Hi Bobble just make sure to do your reaserch on the species prior to putting them in the mixed collection some species are not ment to be mixed with other due to their aggresive behavior or because they might hybridize, but generaly speaking as long as the aviary is big enough and you dont over crowd it you will be fine.

Hi Alex yes ill make a new video on these soon. Most of the species in the outdoor aviary are getting ready to start breeding and these are one of those. So hopefully soon ill get some footage of them on the nest with chicks and will make a video

¿les das insectos? y si se los das ¿cuales? ?gusanos de la harina (tenebrios) o búfalo o pinkis? y ¿congelados o vivos? saludos

Las aves de afura cojen una variedad de insectos wingless fruit flies que vienen siendo las moscas sin alas, termitas y huevos de ormigas. Tambien les ofresco insectos disecados como bloodworms. disculpa que no me se bien los nombres en español.

Asi mismo amigo como unico puedo es porque estan afuera. Los que crio en jaulas adentro no les puedo dar lo mismo solo isectos disecados
