I am watching in Brazil, it brought tears in my eyes! I shown to my 14 yo daughter who is a bit ungrateful and was crying when i limited her mobile usage … despite all poverty the boy smiles and cares about others … he feels so frustrated when the ‘rich’ boy did not catch the shoes … both boys have such a good heart !!! I hope the children have more opportunity to interact n a real world and become free from this screen addictive life, learning the real values of life… such as empathy, respect, gratitude and responsibility!!! ❤

Beautiful, I love the details the filmmaker has crafted here. The "rich boy" may not necessarily be rich, the fact that he keep wiping his shoes shows that he did earned it from hard work. This little detail added so much more impact into the overall presenting of the story.

Watched this video many times..Everytime I watched , I could connect so deeply ...It's the most beautiful video I have ever seen ....Even though . the poor boy was so much in need of the shoe , feeling of greed , inferiorty didn't come in his mind once ..That's amazing ..wonderful ......We can learn a lot ...from this ....

Such a well made short film. Egypt has a very good film industry. By the way, this is so sad. It brough tears to my eyes. I went to Morocco and I saw many little boys and girls like this. They would sell tissues to make a living and they were dressed this way with slippers that were falling off their feet.
