I know that this comment has nothing to do with the video but just listen to me for a second. So when I was little, I played "Donald and Daisy's first date." How it worked was I put the movie on, look for my Donald and Daisy plushies, set them in front of the bed, and make them have commentary for the entire movie. Back then I saw it as a romance movie and I saw that duck as a famous actor. At some points I'd make Daisy cry for no reason and a random spot in the movie. And when this scene came on, I made Donald and Daisy kiss. That is one core memory I will never forget.

I feel like Brad Garrett's character joining a drama team was a nice touch/arc. As guys, it's easy to repress any behaviour that may seem "feminine" with the whole macho act, and simultaneously hate guys confident enough to be themselves because we can't (like he was doing to Peter). So it made sense for him to secretly want to do drama, and explains why he was so quick to understand when Peter mentioned the fact that he was in the play.

That makes perfectly sense. In the ending, we see Principal Murney being reformed. We see this in every family comedy. It’s like Good Boy with Liam Aiken and Matthew Broderick, we see the two mean boys changing in the end where the dogs including Hubble come back from outer space 🪐 and everyone is happy.
